YTLp has just printed a bullish hammer in the hourly chart.
I’m glad for taking a calculated risk to buy some of its shares yesterday and still holding them until now.

Price has just bounced off near to the 50-day Moving Average trendline.

If I’m not mistaken, the YTLp stock price chart has registered higher highs and higher lows since year 2023 (didn’t bother to look further beyond).
A stellar stock price performance and unbelievable surge beyond comparison.

…managed to grab some shares of YTLp stocks at “buy the dip” rm3.68 price after cashing out of YTL stock in the morning and already, am happy with my decision in the afternoon.

I just can’t resist the stock price at rm2.38 and regrettably, cashed out of YTL completely.
I was disillusioned by the fact that YTLp stock price has a meteoric rise so FOMO there again, instead.
Nonetheless, tyvm YTL stock trade speculation since June, last year was so profitable for me.
Time to move on and focus my attention to YTLp now.

Since Oct 23, 2023, the candlestick signals for YTL stock price chart have been healthy and positive until yesterday.
Nothing harmful was found while printing higher highs and higher lows clearly.
So far, the bulls are in control for now.

Bullish engulfing hammer and short wick handle just emerged right before morning session close.

Am I correct that YTL is the rank #1 shareholder by far and has slightly over 55% of YTLPOWR total shares !
This is a huge plus point and did not escape my attention.

An after thought, a bullish green hammer would require its stock price to be at least rm2:28 for yesterday’s close.

Saw the chart again after Bursa close, candle has transformed into a red hammer.

Just grab up some YTL shares at rm2.21 because I’m fearless.
There is nothing in the chart that can stop me FOMO into YTL stock for the 3rd time after rm1.79 (1st time) & rm1.88 (2nd time).

It’s clear to me that the market makers are trying to fix RSI’s extended overbought situation.

Bearish spinning top candlestick had appeared in the price chart yesterday while bearish engulfing signal is in the formation, so far.

NVidia stock price has just risen again by usd17 perhaps, YTLPOWR can overturn yesterday’s minor drop.

NVidia stock price has made a big hike by more than usd26 yesterday perhaps, YTLPOWR stock can also do wonders again today.

I’ve been in consideration to sell all of my NVidia (NVDA) shares picked up on Oct 2022 and a few more “buy the dips” times last year but unexpected great news with YTLPOWR gave me the courage and dedication to keep NVDA & YTL shares for another few more years or as medium term investments.

I vividly recalled that year 2020 was the year of glove stocks such as SUPERMX and TOPGLOV.

tyvm YTLPOWR, you’ll not be missed because I’ve just realised there are 2 large market cap US Nasdaq (AI related) stocks in my portfolio already however, will continue to hold YTL stock for the medium term.

Added more MAYBANK shares into my stock portfolio over the last few days between rm9.06 and rm8.89 at the expense of YTLPOWR though I still hold onto YTL stock.

I did notice your 5-year timeframe scenarios and always have MAYBANK stock in mind for long term investment but never above 8% of my total funds while ~67% are consisted of 2 large market cap US Nasdaq (AI related) stocks.
Looking forward in the search of 2 more wonderful stocks at a fair price to include into my stock portfolio, soon.

Finally, I can declare that selling all of my Apple (AAPL) shares at usd196.69 held since year 2016 for YTL stock at rm1.79 is worth it.

On hindsight, I should have committed more funds to YTLPOWR & YTL stocks because both stock prices have surged a lot.

Your dividend estimates are optimistic and your computation is correct.
A pessimistic forecast that I’ve made for my own reference coming in at a lower rm0.75 (FD) + rm0.15 (SD) hence total dividend for year 2023 is rm1.70 and high dividend yield is 8%.
Therefore, the formula to calculate its stock price is as follows;-
(rm1.70 * 100) / 8 = rm21.25
Note :
Value investors are likely to discount its stock price by 2% because of various reasons.
rm21.25 * 0.98 = ~rm20.83

My optimistic dividend estimate for BAT year 2023 is rm0.70 and usually investors have expectation of high or generous dividend yield about 8%.
The formula to obtain its stock price is as follows;-
(rm0.70*100) / 8 = rm8.75.
Please check what is its stock price now.

I would interpret this as the stock price is cooling down a little bit however MACD is still positive but also, softening while RSI was in extended overbought territory 4 days ago.

I don’t know for sure but in today’s price chart the candlestick printed a weak shooting star sign.

As I’ve just sold off all my TSLA shares for a small 10.+% profit yesterday, there is no point for such posts to exist, anymore.
In addition, I’ve already worked out how many UP shares that I’ll continue to keep.

Should have waited for its stock price correction before the accumulation of more shares. “Buy the dips”.

MACD id has slipped into the negative at rm1.88 (neutral at rm1.89 & positive at rm1.90) but still far from RSI oversold territory so I’m still around for the ride.
If I don’t sell off by this year then, I’ll be at least a medium term YTL shareholder.

If HEIM pays rm1.20 as dividend for year 2023 that means a decrease of rm0.18 and an assumption of about 5% conservative average dividend rate.
The formula ;-
(rm1.20 * 100) / 5 = rm24
or rm1.22 based on your (@DividendGuy67) dividend estimate for year 2023 instead then,
The formula;-
(rm1.22*100) / 5 = 24.4

In the short term, its fundamental ratios are most likely positive however how’s about its prospects in the medium and longer term?

HEIM has managed to fend off the sellers.

Just sold half of my YTL shares at rm1.95 today and will keep the rest for the longest time.
With lesser shares, I don’t have to check its stock price hourly.

…not only I’m still holding onto all of my shares, I did manage to get some more shares at rm1.88.

I’m still around with all my YTL shares and didn’t bother to take any profits yet.

Exactly, MACD signal has not even peaked (upside) yet but RSI is overextended though.

Stock price in the range of rm1.91 to rm1.94 has moderate headwinds or selling pressure.

My amateur level technical analysis did not see any shooting star yet for now.

I’m expecting notable consolidation at stock price in the range of rm1.95 to rm2.00 (turbulent headwinds here).
After the coast is clear and the weak shareholders or sellers have been absorbed to make a run up into above the rm2.00 territory.

My amateur technical analysis for YTL stock has indicated a safe rm1.94 can be reached.

I smelt rotten eggs (or bad corruption) back in year 2016, when Arul Kandasamy started to talk in favour of exPM (in prison now) after he’s in-charge of 1MBD .
