Pantech Group Holdings Bhd has proposed a one-for-five bonus issue, a one-for-ten bonus warrant issue and an employee share option scheme (ESOS).

The steel products manufacturer said the bonus issue entails 138.09 million shares of 20 sen each, enlarging its share base to 829.38 million, which will rise further to 988.18 million if the bonus warrants and ESOS are fully exercised.

Constrained production troubles at the Hibiscus Petroleum Anasuria FPSO are expected to continue well into 2022.

The Malaysia-headquartered operator said a “critical component” of its flagship UK production asset malfunctioned in April/May during turnaround season this year, which is yet to be repaired.

Hibiscus said engineering and procurement activities are being “fast-tracked” to replace the component, but until then the impact will be lower production rates from the Anasuria FPSO.

The issue is expected to be rectified in the third quarter of the 2022 financial calendar.

“Until the failed component is returned to service, we anticipate that there will be an impact on calendar year 2022 offtake volumes and OPEX per boe”, Hibiscus said in a statement.

I'm amazed that SuperMX is going to spend more than RM 2 B. in 2021-2022 on USA expansion plans .... If you're in manufacturing & selling your products worldwide. it would make more bizsense to expand in countries with cheap labour, cheap energy, cheap land, low coporate taxes or invest in high productivity labour saving equipment so that your margins would improve and sales increase.

Do you really think that USA does not have the tech or investor or capability to do a high end glove factory? Do you also really have it figured out that under Joe Biden that USA will be a closed market? Pls think again.....

For qtr ending Sep 2020, all these 3 glove counters - SuperMx, Harta & Kossan command the same ASP of US$50/1K and forex USD 4.17 based on their qtr production.
Although SuperMx & Harta have about same production capacity and same revenue, Harta has lowest EPS and low margin because of more shrs issued and higher costs. Kossan has lower production capacity so EPS is 10% lower than Supermx

The Foreign Worker Dormitory contagion is a lesson that Malaysia could have learn from the lesson in Singapore.
TG do not need Twitter and Facebook accounts, but more important that their Managers should have inspected the "living quarters & toilets" of foreign workers every weekend to ensure that welfare of workers are taken care of.
