Very simple...Vaccine news is days away, Bamboo news is months away. Why report something which is months away? I would post whatever news is the latest.

PETALING JAYA: Health director-general Dr Noor Hisham Abdullah said the Covid-19 vaccine need not be halal in order to be administered in Malaysia, following concerns raised by a few quarters over the matter.
Speaking to The Straits Times, Noor Hisham however, said if the makers of the vaccine could obtain halal certification, it “would be better”.

Dr Noor Hisham rubbishes report claiming Chinese vaccines unsafe
Keertan Ayamany 11 hrs ago
KUALA LUMPUR, Dec 9 ― Health director-general Tan Sri Dr Noor Hisham Abdullah today debunked new that vaccines made in China are unsafe to use, saying that the East Asian nation has a successful track record in manufacturing vaccines for diseases other than Covid-19.
Dr Noor Hisham was responding to a question by a journalist, who highlighted a news article that has been making the rounds over the past few days, alleging that vaccines manufactured in China are not safe
“The news is not true at all. If we see, China has come out with prequalified vaccines for the World Health Organisation (WHO), for example, vaccines for influenza, polio, hepatitis A, and japanese encephalitis.
“So they have experience with manufacturing vaccines,” he said during a press conference today.
He said that the issue now was the Covid-19 vaccine is new, which requires testing in three phases.
He highlighted that Malaysia has yet to receive any report on the third phase of testing for any of the Covid-19 vaccines developed globally.
Dr Noor Hisham previously said on December 4 that the Health Ministry will conduct its own third phase of clinical trials on a vaccine that is developed by the Institute of Medical Biology Chinese Academy of Medical Sciences in Beijing, China.
This decision was made after phases one and two of clinical trials in China showed that the vaccine is safe to use and garnered good results.

Kanger recently purchased a parcel of land measuring 5.5 acres in Kuala Selangor for RM6.8 million. They are actively looking out for strategic opportunities with attractive prospects for the Group to invest in."

The Gulf Arab state in July started Phase 3 clinical trials of the vaccine, developed by Beijing Institute of Biological Product, a unit of Sinopharm’s China National Biotec Group (CNBG). In September, the UAE approved its emergency use for certain groups.
The analysis also shows “99% seroconversion rate of neutralizing antibody and 100% effectiveness in preventing moderate and severe cases of the disease”, the ministry said in a statement carried by the state news agency.
“The analysis shows no serious safety concerns,” it said.
It also said it had officially registered the vaccine, without elaborating, and that 31,000 volunteers across 125 nationalities participated in the UAE trial.

In 2018, the group secured the exclusive distributorship in China for the Classen brand of laminated hardwood flooring from Classen GmbH, Germany.
With rising acceptance of the Classen brand in China, Kanger was recently presented with the Excellence Award for Best Supplier to the Chinese Bed & Breakfast Industry at the 2019 International B&B Industry Development Forum and the 2019-2020 Illustrious Brand award by the China Renovation & Construction Alliance.
Sales of Classen products have been encouraging and proved to be a good complement to the group, generating revenue to the group whilst the group scaled down its production of in-house bamboo products to make way for the relocation exercise of the bamboo plant.

Kstar is not the sole distributor for vaccine but appointed by sole distributor as sales agent. I see no reason why cannot sell as it has nothing to do with approvals. The sole distributor Kanger already given letter by Mosti to deal direct with Sinopharm but still need final approval by NPRA.
But I agree this counter share price is very bad.

The government has already placed orders for several million shots of vaccine from three manufacturers: Pfizer/BioNTech, AstraZeneca, and Moderna.
Switzerland’s medical regulator Swissmedic says it lacks the necessary information to sign off on three different coronavirus vaccines ordered by the government.
The regulator said important data on safety, efficacy and quality are still missing. It has reached out to the manufacturers, who provided data from their studies.
“We lack data on the effectiveness of the clinical trials and on the important subgroups that participated in these large studies,” said Claus Bolte, head of the authorisation division at Swissmedic, at a press briefing on Tuesday organised by the Federal Office of Public Health.
For example, Swissmedic wants to know about the pre-existing illnesses of the people who took part in these studies. According to the regulator, acceptance of such rapidly developed vaccines requires a high degree of trust in manufacturers and approving authorities. It is therefore important to examine very closely the effects on different groups of people.
