One of the things I like about Rhonema is the milk business. Milk is so expensive in Malaysia/Singapore, not many ppl can afford it. So good to be able to support this business....make milk more affordable and at the same time I also gain mah!

The lower ex price follows established law, it applies universally, not just to Tawin. We ourselves need to know the rules and do our own calculations to gain but following the rules.

Hmm, for me I think company management is good lor....remember to convert daughter to mom was 23.5 sen and Happy sifu converted a RM 6figure sum? Also told I tried to match him but a bit
less lor. Current price means 15-20% return, so why care so much the driver is small or big gas leh? I just grateful for Ptrans....it's a real transformer of my pocket money lor. And I think everyone here will gain cos Ptrans is growing....investing in Ptrans is not a zero sum game!

As etgoh235 said, the share price will be adjusted downwards after the right... this is called the theoretical ex price. Pls check it out.

Just to add: you can buy just the rights from the open market during the week the rights are listed.

Afew days After the ex date of the right issue, the rights will be credited to your account. It will be listed for about a week during which You can trade the rights. After this week, must subscribe or the rights will be worthless. I have a nominee account with public bank and the broker there does the subscription for me....I just pay, haha. But must beware of the various dates. Btw, the ex-date not announced yet.

Why afraid of right issue? I think it's a legitimate way to raise fund to growing the company. What I'm afraid is investing in company that has no genuine plan for growth. Actually, since investing from April, I keep a look out for companies that do right issues and maybe just a coincidence....all generated reasonably good returns. For Tawin, If one buys now at 18sen, and you get 3rights(subscription price@6sen)per share, so after the right exercise, you get total of 4 shares for 18+6x3=36sens or 9sen a share. Will the foreseeable future price be more or less than 9sen? Hope this helps one to decide whether it's worth the risk or not.

@Combilia Reposting relevant bursa announcements is surely helpful as some ppl, like me, sometimes overlook the announcements. First bought Tawin in July, basically cos of its ECOcycle park joint venture. Seen its rise and fall, and did buy and sell. As eco and health sector are much related, i think Tawin made the right move and so top up more yesterday and plan to hold so as to participate in the right issue!

They submitted proposals to Bursa on 16oct. If got holding power, price now should still be worth it.

I remember Datuk/Jeniffer said will give more frequently the dividend going forward! So, prefer to hold.....any comment?
