3rd qtr results are out mid December ....should be good not to mention stock is trading Exd right now.

One caveat is that said contract will be awarded next year possibly end of 1 qtr. Given the market conditions it was not unreasonable to seek tenders again...it makes sense.

True Malaysia must approve pronto and get vaccination plan drawn up .....this is the time to act fast.

All metrics suggest the price should be much higher....period! However it is the owners shared s dealing and dumping stocks in open market has been the main issue! Poor governance.

Total crap....Mike lot of memorandum of understanding and then report again to say no progress...these are being used to attract buying high. Company is a complete shell...

So what is the conclusion, will the price rear rear from here back to to 3 or rally after small,correction? We have also to consider CIMB investor base. My view is that price after half year announcements was the low point...I can see the price being higher than current price over the next 6 months.

Cimb represent better turnaround opportunity. Given the latest nos, things will get better from now on.....any price correction will be an opportunity to make 20-30%! All depends on how you base investment decision!

Those disappointed sell please those forward looking can invest for turn around. Look like folks being critical without understanding the reasons for poor performance...which boils down mainly to 2 huge institutional NPL out of Singapore!

Rhb’s turn on Monday.....what is going to be? Recovery? Slightest improving trend will see price rise to 5.50 level,for,sure. Strong capital and strong asset portfolio should see price rally.

Let’s be honest 2 huge doggy loans made to Singaporean companies are the reason for CIMBs bad performance. Both companies have been proven to be fraudulent and the auditors role is questionable! That said i suspect CIMB due diligence was not adequate...not surprising given that the regulators and other banks also have been mislead. The total cost is around 1.5 B plus tomCIMB shareholder. So much for fraudulent free Singaporean companies!

Which ever way you look at it the results are good on improving trend with looses narrowing significantly between 2 and 3rd qtr. 2021 will see return to profitability. Markets and investors look ahead and not backwards. Any fall is an investment opportunity

Very interesting comments by some! Why were people expecting a profit? The results are good showing very good recovery, net loss to shareholders is down to 138 m compared to 786m first half. The trend has changed from 2nd half....share price was 410 before announcing of half results. Compare this AA whose losses have increased each qtr! I expect price to remain same or go higher based future trend.

Time to rally....things will settle down!

Corporate governance is a huge issue .....directors are insiders and don’t follow acceptable market behaviour....dealing in closed periods, private placements, unloading huge number of shares in open market...is the reason why these counters suffer....plain luck if u make money
