Jimstock. I don't have any blog. I am just a farmer living in kampung. Work hard in FA is almost like working hard in the farm....Mentally working hard. You may get insight in stock market after getting through the tough process.....at least few years. start with a small capital at young age is the best option to accumulate practical experience and reduce paying high school fees. Be alerted most of the times...Breath in and breath out. Hahaha! Don't spend too much $$$$ in learning TA.....

Be conservative when reaching retiring age. If you want to mimic kyy style of investing, you may have to work very hard before the money work hard for you. It is just like being a GM, nothing is taken for granted, you got to work hard first to show them before your subordinates working hard for you....except... unless you can get a capable person like OTB to manage for you. It is rather easy to acquire investing knowledge but it takes time to do analysis, experiences and fine tuning mindset ....try an error of your unique investing style...fine tuning and keep fine tuning..... Better to invest in Blue chips in FMCG or certain banking stocks to make a long term low consistent gain if you are not really interested in analysis unless you just allocate a small amount of capital to play play for fun.

Bro CharlesT, I did not learn this technique from OTB. It could be OTB teached his subscribers only. I learned only after kyy revealed this in his big big article.

Putting aside of his not long lasting good calls for those counter, I want thank kyy for his kind sharing on how to pick a growth /theme stocks. My returns is more than double after applying his technique for being a value trader.

Logically, you won't buy Cxxxxxx if you know its business operations. The profits level would not be sustainable in next few quarters. But....When the big players wanted to goreng by relying on the steel theme, you might miss short term trading gain which attached higher risks.

Agreed with Yistock. The CRC producers are certainly enjoying good profits as a result of Magasteel ceased its operations. Will they enjoy full reduction of lower HRC price through import from overseas? I believe some CRC producers would try to increase their production to highest possible so as to benefit from higher economy of scale. What would happen to the price of CRC's end products? Of course, the prices would drop as output quantity higher. The CRC producers are still able to enjoy windfall but may not be so high from back of the envelope calculation.

It's never too late to start learning FA. CPteh has learned the basic theory to analyze a stock. He got to apply the theory in real life of investing. The most easy way is to analyze ColdEye's portfolio. Of course, he has to acquire some basic accounting knowledge to help him while doing an analysis practically. Certain informations is not accurate or reliable that can be obtained in the public and may lead to making a wrong decision. It may take a bit time to get into the groove.

KUCHING: Consumers in Malaysia can expect Euro 4 (a European Union fuel standard to define fuel quality) for all petrol types including diesel by 2018.

Minister of Natural Resources and Environment Datuk Seri Wan Junaidi Tuanku Jaafar, who announced this yesterday, said all vehicle users could expect better fuel quality from 2018 without the need to fork out more.

Presently, only RON97 is of Euro 4, while RON95 and diesel remain at Euro 2.

“Come 2018, we will all use Euro 4, be it petrol or diesel. Only petroleum companies will be affected as they are expected to supply clean and quality fuel so as to reduce carbon dioxide emission.

“It will have no economic implication on consumers as there will be no difference in prices,” he said when met by the press at his parliamentary service centre in Jalan Kulas here yesterday.

Wan Junaidi added that Malaysia, as an oil-producing nation, ought to provide quality fuel to consumers if compared to Singapore and Thailand.

The Ministry of Natural Resources and Environment and Department of Environment, he said, had met up with officials from Japan to deliberate on the implementation of e-waste disposal system in Malaysia.

“The study is still at its initial stage although we have already had two seminars now. I have been made to understand that the entire system will include collection, environment and laws.

“We will work with the Japanese government to make it happen in 2016.”
