doing charity can be very complicated, and yet it can be very simple
it is complicated when you look at it from your own perspective. For example, "what do I gain from doing that ?", "how do I gain ?", "how do I REALLY gain by not trying to link it back to myself ?", etc..
it becomes very simple when you throw away all the above questions and focus on "how the recipient of my aid will benefit ?"
the whole thing will then become very clear - just do it no need to think too much
I liked to do charity by donating money, then my friends will come and lecture me "donating money not good enough lah, you must physically do more charity work..."
but that is if you are looking at charity from "how will it benefit me" point of view
if you are not really concerned about "how will it benefit me", you will suddenly realise that there is nothing wrong with donating money - the recipient will benefit from the monetary assistance. It is tangible.
Then the whole thing becomes very clear and simple - if you want to do charity by donating money, go ahead and do it. There is nothing wrong if you don't physically get involved.
"Since the market tends to go in the opposite direction of what the majority of people think, I would say 95% of all these people you hear on TV shows are giving you their personal opinion. And personal opinions are almost always worthless … facts and markets are far more reliable."
meaning most negative news are false. If you are lucky, you will avoid major crashes because major crashes do not happen that often.
Yea I agree it is scalable. I could have broken say my 100k into 1k per buy. But playing shares you just have to simply think on the operator's perspective. If you play big, somehow you'll have the feeling that someone is marking you. Lel being sensitive..
I remember when the late Mr CKwan telling ppl that he was in poverty line n had cancer, this fellow just asked him to do deep breathing... hahahaha

This bursa is RIGGED The high will always goes higher The low will always goes lower Never buy cheap stock to make quick profit What working is one single stock can goes up until you drop your jaws while the rest do not want to goes up at all It is how the operator rigged this system Ignore the noise if you are gonna hold long term
rigged also pump and dump....those who bought into these kinda counters wanna go toilet also cannot cos u never know in 5 mins can limit down. this is call manipulation
sc or bursa should issue new law, stocks up or down for 3 days with no reason will be suspended pending any news. if no news it will be remain suspended
no changes required. Bursa is one the healthiest stock market in the world. I would not trade it for Singapore stock exchange.

@stockmanmy is correct, Bursa is a good place to trade. I wudnt call it the healthiest, but it's a good stock exchange. restrictions r there, but u can still maneuver n make money. i have the knowledge of trading in shanghai/shenzhen stock exchange. one of the peculiar rules that have is if u just pick up a stock for that particular day, u cant sell on the same day. u can only sell the following day onwards. unless, u already have similar stock that u purchased before. of cos, the max up n down of 10% of the value of the stock. but, what i cant tahan is the roller coaster of the stocks, it can go so high in a minute, n it can go down tremendously in the next minute. compared to bursa, we r better.
bursa can be consider healthy if it reverse back to the old trading ways of all units should be 1 lot should be 1000 unit not 100 unit, all brokers commission be the same rate, all due date must be the same not like now some brokerage can offer T+10.if a particular company up or down for 3 consecutive days it will be suspended if no news, all company must have a minimum trading average monthly volume cos many counters untraded for a long period
i beg to differ, 10 lots per 1000 shares is better than 1 lot per 1000 shares. more liquidity so does speak. but it was so funny during the conversion period, the remisier then always asked me, u want to buy/sell 1 lot or 10 lots? kikiki
if 1 lot is 1000 units is harder to manipulate, u see many counters being traded at the close matching price done 100 share to make it up or down as they wish
bursa only do this cos this is how the operators can easier dispose the illiquid expensive stock such as BAT. the big funds bought in bulk at cheaper price can slowly dispose to retails 100 share each at higher price. just like a wholesale market
