Crude oil price keeps dropping without a sign of reversal in near future. CPO price stays in declining trend after hitting low level. International tourists arrival Malaysia are getting less and less after tragedy of MH 370. House prices remain sky high to reach by middle class. Household debt went up to 86.8% in year 2013. It's obviously not a good news to our country which GDP growth is largely depend on domestic demand.

Reading Buffet story seems like reading motivation book. It is difficult for him buy huge volume during bull run at fair prices. I learned a lesson in year 2008 as I followed him to buy shares at the time during initial stage of bear market. Unfortunately, the share price went down further 30% after 6 months. 8 out of top 10 biggest capitalization companies of KLSE have reported a lower profit in 2nd quarter. If this trend persist, mega sales is coming soon.

The imminent impact would probably start from PBB quarterly announcement. If the earnings fall, it may trigger re-rating of whole finance sector. Our oil and gas giant, Petgas, would announce lower profit due due soften LNG price. The bottom line of Pchem and Petdag will be effected too. These companies may create a domino effect in our market. Don't forget plantation companies is expected to post lower profit or even loss.

The main problem is earnings deteriorating of many big capitalization companies. Fundamentally and technically have shifted to negative side.

The risk is much higher than returns now. It's not worth to fight for it. Time to make use of the experience...winter is approaching and time to go hibernating.

Lay Hong has announced a profit up of 7-fold comparing with comparing with the corresponding quarter of preceeding year. The increase in bottom line was due to higher selling price of eggs and favorable raw material price of corn & soybean. LTKM is expected to announce good results next month.
