for 2009, mkland total assets was RM 1941 million and their liabilities was RM 945 million.
for 2008 Mahsing assets was RM 1200 million and its liabilities was RM 503 million.
For 2012 mkland assets was RM 1976 million and its liabilities was RM 896 million
For 2012 mahsing assets was RM 3595 million and its liabilities was RM 2340 million
(i didn't get the 2008 data for mkland...so i based it on 2009)
.....
so fr 2009 to 2012 mkland assets is quite stagnant , and its liabilities has decreased by RM100 million.
yet for mahsing from 2008 to 2012, its assets has triple, amid its liabilites has multipled by 4.65 times !!!, very risky biz

hello seline ... mkland is not too late , because now is the best time for it to move forward... if it just has more professional and skilled team , it can move 10 times faster than mahsing..., it need to capitalize its vast prime land, it debt is only 150 million for ending 2012 , big decrease fr 194 million before.

i think ( i think lah), kasi need to pay some wrong-do*** when he was the managing director in mkland. now there is no more announcement that 'kasi' has dumped any for couple of days...not even at 0.34 or 0.335 , while before he dumped at even 0.325...i think he already reached his target to pay the 'unfortunate debt', and has realizes that this mkland will shoot up...tenet-tenet-tenet-tenet-tenet-tenet-tenet-tenet-tenet

MK Land to launch luxury hilltop projects in prime sites
KUALA LUMPUR: MK Land Holdings Bhd is upbeat on the real estate market and is planning to launch exclusive hilltop developments and commercial projects in prime locations to meet demand, its key official said.
According to group chief executive officer Lau Shu Chuan, the hilltop developments will feature luxury bungalows and town villas.
MK Land currently has nine projects in Selangor, Perak and Kedah.
Its flagship project is Bandar Damansara Perdana, a 303.5ha township development in Petaling Jaya, comprising landed commercial and residential properties.
The Damansara Perdana project is expected to take another 10 years to be completed and is destined to be a premier centre for business and living in Petaling Jaya.
Lau said Damansara Perdana is currently one of the biggest developments in Petaling Jaya, with sales of RM2.82 billion derived from the launch of condominiums, high-end apartments, a range of commercial buildings and semi-detached bungalows.
MK Land is planning to launch new phases at Damansara Perdana, Lau said after handing over keys to its buyers for its The Rafflesia @ Park project last week.
The new phases include The Rafflesia @ Hills and The Rafflesia @ Peak, featuring semi-detached bungalows, he added.
The Rafflesia @ Park, meanwhile, is a residential project with prices ranging from RM2.6 million. Lau said the development is expected to be completed by June 2014.
MK Land is offering a 5% discount to buyers, with no legal fees on SPA and loan documentation.

before this perumahan prima1 in cyberjaya been talk of the town, mkland has talked about it in dec 2012:
In a bid to help low-income earners acquire a home, MK Land Holdings Bhd announced today that it will continue to build affordable houses even in high-end residential areas.

Chairman Tan Sri Mustapha Kamal Abu Bakar revealed that the company plans to construct affordable houses in Cyberjaya although most developers there want to build luxury houses only.

“MK Land's plan to continue building affordable homes is in line with the government's intention through the 1Malaysia People's Housing Programme (PR1MA) to help the people own houses, particularly in the Klang Valley,” he said.

Mustapha Kamal added that the company is willing to share its experience and cooperate with the government in undertaking affordable housing schemes, adding that his experience 30 year experience in building affordable homes has earned him the title “King of Low Cost”.

“MK land is an affordable home developer whose experience we are prepared to share with the government to build similar houses for the people," he said.

Moving forward, MK Land plans to build 3,000 affordable houses in Cyberjaya in 2013.
