Yes, I will hold it until expired date. If not mistaken, I will only receive the money within 7 working days after expired date. Should be around 7 March already. This is 1st time I hold my warrant until expired. So a lot of things also not too sure. Maybe others person here can provide u better answer on this.

My planning is use this money to buy AA again if the price at that time is below 2.80. So sell it now or not not really change much in my investment strategy. Anyway, no any recommendation for buying or selling. Just for reference purpose.

Any sample for my case study to support your statement? It's not easy to manipulate this warrant especially stock like AA with high transaction volume. Market value of c-34 is about 10M now. But daily transaction for AA is about 50M. If you want to push down the price of AA to make c-34 out of money, you have to push down to RM2.00. The cost to push down 10 cent more could be more than 1-2M. It's not worth for CIMB to do so in the sense of mathematics. This is not include reputation impact yet.

if the price at that time is 0.90 cent but forecast on EPS is 40-60 cent, then i will try to loan in whatever way (Ah long (2% per month), credit card (1.5% per month)) and invest it. PE=2 nia with this size of company, where to find. lol..

@ stockmanny AA never earn 90 sen EPS per year. Forecast (from PBB, CIMB, MIDF, etc) is about 40-60 EPS in year 2017.

@ curious2, You mentioned that "AAC is the 1 giving AA high profit", obviously you don't know much about Airasia. Don't simply say something that you are not familiar. Feel free to give any opinion (either positive or negative) on your view in AA but dont quote something is not true or something you dont know.

Anyway, if you buy on C-34 now is more to speculating instead of investing since it is very close to maturity already. But chances of win:loss is about 60:40 now. Take your own risk.

Yup. This is my plan now. I already bought significant amount of C-34 before. Will hold it until maturity. If you able to buy 0.215 now and the average price for that 5 trading days is current price which is 2.70. You will directly earn (0.70/3 - 0.215)/0.215=8.5% within 3 weeks. It sound very good deal to me.

@Kyou - For C-34.
Last day that u can sell is 21 Feb, u cant you cant trade anymore after that. The rest of your share will take the average trade price in coming 5 trading days as final price. In-the-money portion, issuer will issue cheque to you.

All within TF expectation so far and small retailer like me just would like to tumpang abang TF punya flight.

My understanding is like this:
1. Initially TF would like to have AAC so that the balance sheet of AA will look nicer and let investors value it more. In fact, investors does not view like this way + air-crash in year 2014 + being accused of abuses and condoning accounting gimmicks by GMT in year 2015.
2. I believe TF got think to privatize it before but it is not easy since FF hold more than 50%. Although share price at that time was drop to 70-80 cent. But when you want to privatize, I believe that you need to top-up at least up to RM2.00 to complete it. If this is the case, TF do not have so much cash and take so much risk to privatize it, not worth. So he only doing PP.
3. After PP, he only spin-off the AAC to maximize his personal gain. Try to think oppositely, why TF did not selling AAC 1st then only doing PP? He definitely able to do so and why not? Because AAC is valuable and he knew it. I believe that he already received offer for AAC before he doing PP.

Anyway, I just guessing.. hahaha..

Just curious, why C-35 always higher than C-34? If investor think C-35 can invest, then you should buy C-34 which is cheaper and longer duration. Anyway, this is the reason I pick C-34 in portfolio at the end. Lol..

Do you aware that when Ringgit vs USD is 4.40:1 in Q4 2015 but AA make highest quarterly revenue and highest quarterly operational income in AA history. This is fact but not any big picture.

If genting casino can bet on "Green" or "Red" for AA tomorrow, I will bet RM100 for Green tomorrow. haha..

Interesting statistic:
1. Trend of Share price: Red Green Green ; Red Green Green
2. When it is red, the reducing is very minimal; 0.01-0.02
3. Volume is significant since January. Average transaction amount is more than RM50M daily.

Actually Q3 result is super nice to me, but this positive impact did not reflected in share price after that which I don't know why. Lol..
So Q4 good result will boost the result or not is still questionable. The best chemical to boost the price now at AAC binding price. If 1B USD, then i predict AA will stay at above 3.00. If 1.1B USD then is above 3.3. I wish is 1.2B so AA probably will stay above 3.6.

1. If EPF sell no more Bursa announcement since own less than 5%?
It's same, if EPF buy now, they also no need do Bursa announcement. From pass few months transaction, EPF acquired more than disposed.

2. If EPF bought at RM 2.4 and sell above RM 2.60 1 round can earn 20 sen.
What's wrong with EPF if they would like to earn money from equity? Are you requesting a fund only can acquired but cannot disposed? Please name one for me then I buy you a meal. Hahaha.. But I believe big fund like EPF wont target Rm2.60, sound too small-minded and lack of ambitious. Even they do so, do you think EPF can always get 2.4? They might sell at 2.60 and share price go up 2.80 later.

3. Now no big news until QR and AAC sale.
If everyday got big news then it is not big news already and high chance is fake news. Lol..

4. USD, oil up good news?
It's depend how you interpret and understand the business of AA. USD strengthen mean AA asset more valuable since aircraft all count in USD. So AAC can sell in good price. In operation wise, the cost is increasing, but all competitors will facing the same problem and AA have the lowest operation cost. Thus, to me, USD is not significant impact unless 1USD vs 6 Ringgit. Same to the oil price, competitors will facing the same problem so will transfer the cost to consumer. But will demanding lesser due to increasing in air ticket price? I personally don't think so. Now a days, youngster can cut cost in others expect such as food, accommodation but not travelling.

If you check the share price of AA start from year 2017, you may find out that the price movement always 2 days Green and come with 1 day Red later. Today is just the day for Red then continue with 2 days Green later? Lol.. I'm just trying to speculate the price movement. Anyway, I got zero knowledge about technical analysis. Hahaha.. appreciate if any technical guru can share their view here.

I'm super confident with current fundamental of AA. I strongly believe 2017 will be the best year for AA history. Spin-off AAC + Listing in HK + Low Jet Price environment + healthy growth of tourism industry. All of these will happen this year. Almost all negative elements are immaterial and can be ignored.
1. Weaken in ringgit. With trump pattern banyak banyak recently, don't think that US dollar will strengthen VS ringgit.
2. Foreign Fund pull out from Malaysia. You may check trading record start from rooster year. Foreign Fund Bought > Sell. For example, net buying from foreign fund is 206M today.
3. Price War. If you go to website and randomly check the price from Airasia, Malindo, Firefly, MAS. I don't feel any price war environment now. I could be wrong since the sample size is too small.
4. Rolls-Royle Bribery case. Since TF can perform PP successfully and make announcement in bursa on this case. The negative impact should be immaterial. Investors include EPF (they disposed some shares during RR news is release but acquired after TF make announcement in bursa) are confidence with AA now.

I strongly believe AA will reach 3.00 within this year and my target price for AA in year 2017 is 3.50. I got 65% in mother share and 35% in C-34. If mother share still below 2.80 @ 1 March 2017, i will use cash from C-34 to buy more mother share!

To minimize the transaction cost + I think C34 worth to hold now since the current price is with negative premium now. As long as your call warrant is in-the-money position, issuer have to pay you the cash. Just not sure where they pay to only and when I can received it. I wanna use this money buy AA mother share if the price still below 2.80 at that time.

It does not make sense to me. No one will buy if the call-warrant work like this.

I will hold my C34 until expired. But I never hold any warrant until expired. Will I received the cash from issuer if I hold until expired? To my bank account or investment account? Any sifu can help? lol
