The most US will do is to condemn Russia at a world stage. Their military intervention should be quite limited. Personally, i do not think US has the funds (and motivation) to engage in a full scale war in Ukraine especially after two debilitating wars (Afghanistan and Iraq).
About Tambun Indah, I will continue to hold as this is a very strong counter - albeit undervalued.
Hopefully, there is a rebound soon enough.

@ ApaMauMau - yup. You are right. The net profit for FY14 will be even higher especially TI now controls the entire Pearl City. WIth the progressive dividend payment policy of 40% to 60%, we expect to receive higher dividends.
Hopefully, TI will continue its legacy as a township developer and will acquire future landbanks to develop more township. I wonder what is their future plan after Pearl City?

i don't think the TP of RM1.65 is fair. RM1.80 seems fair to me. Don't forget - TI still has alot of undeveloped land at Pearl City.
But then, i am quite worried about their land banks. Seems they may run out of land to develop in the near future. But TI is a good developer. Their buyers are genuine home buyers...not speckies.

i think it is listed somewhere in their audited financial statements - that they are using ESOS.

for the 2nd announcement whereby there is a conversion of warrants - companies like Tambun INdah is using ESOS - employee stock option scheme - whereby instead of paying salaries to their key employees - they will compensate using stock options.

speaking from experience, there was once i bought during the QE tapering at Sept'13 (last year). The counter was performing quite well - hence, i bought at RM1.54 - and then, viola the next few weeks, the counter drop to RM1.30. Hehehe...nearly heart attack...
hence, learning from this experience, patience is a virtue. Wait until it drops back to RM1.40 and below, and then start to accumulate further. Anyway, for buyers - the downward pressure on KLCI now is helping us buyers to accumulate more at bargain prices. In my books, bargain prices is at RM1.40 and below. Just need to wait....

my bet is that this counter may drop further within these few weeks in view of poor bursa performance.

mmm...this seems like CNY window dressing. The whole market is going down, hard for Tambun Indah to appreciate any further.

mmm...if it drops to below RM1.40/- then, will continue loading

@ azlan88 - thanks for the great advice.
Anyway, just asking, if the investor buy before ex-date and then sell after ex-date, they can at most profit a few cents. Is it worth it taking that sort of risk and then profiting for a few cents?

Hi Azlan88, just wanna ask. I am looking to accumulate more of Tambun INdah at cheaper price. Do you think the counter will hit RM1.50?
2014-01-13 11:54 | Report Abuse
if it drops to RM1.50/- will continue to accumulate.

Hi all sifus,
Just asking for some pointers. This morning, i am about to place some trades (buy) at RM1.60/-. Then, i notice that the asking price (sell) starts to drop to RM1.56/-. This happens before the market opens. Naturally, the buy trades are quickly cancelled and the market for this counter is currently going down (as of now 9.35am).
Just wanna ask - why the counter is acting opposite to market expectation? Market expects it to go up but "someone" is willing to sell for a low price at RM1.56/-.
I read along this thread that some parties are interested in keeping the price down.
Why is it so?

Hi all sifus...
Just asking, now the share price is at a new high at RM1.61/- How do we know if the share price may continue to appreciate in the future? or it will hold on at RM1.61 range? Or it will drop?
Think that i wanna continue loading at RM1.61 - but this is a new high...but if i don't load now, i may miss this buying opportunity when the price becomes even higher...but then, scared it will drop pulak....
But then, i think if it drops from RM1.61, i will not be overly concerned as this is a good counter... but i just like to buy things cheap...
Any advice?

just asking...do you guys think this rally is also attributed to "window dressing" activities as we are now so close to Chinese New Year???

just thinking whether the US tapering will present some good buying opportunities for this share? like price drop below RM 1.40?

just asking, do you guys think RM1.50 is still considered undervalued for Tambun INdah?

just asking, if the market price for the warrant is at RM0.81, hence we just need to pay the convert price of RM0.60 to convert the warrant into the share?

where to find the RHB research report on Tambun INdah?

like today's price for Tambun warrants are RM0.80, then does it mean we need to add RM0.60 to convert to share? hence, total pay = RM1.40?

Once at this range (RM1.30 to RM1.35), i will proceed to load additional shares. Some of you may ask why at this price range? It is just a relative valuation because RM1.30 is the price TI transacted with Nadayu to buy up the two subsidiaries - TIDevelopment and Palmington. Just imagine paying RM1.30/- to buy up the entire Tambun Indah (instead of just two of its wholly owned subsidiary - Palmington & TI Development). It is really good value. Hence, RM1.30 should be the new benchmark to measure how attractive is the prevailing market price (i.e.; whether we are paying fair price at the prevailing market price). Honestly, i don't mind paying RM0.10 as a premium at today's closing market price of RM1.40. Just treat this RM0.10 as an additional premium for buying up the entire Tambun Indah (partial ownership though).

Anyone has any comments about Mah Sing? It seems their product mix now is slowing changing. They are now following TI's steps - in developing affordable homes for middle class folks.
