The RM9b borrowings will take 9 years to pay off if it can produce RM1b operating cash flow a year. No dividend for the next 3-5 years at least and the current valuation of Armada isn’t cheap, or expensive.

A company in net debt is raising rm150m cash thru private placement to set up a glove factory and will make rm150m net profit a year and therefore should now be valued at rm3billion. Omg, How many believe in this Kky’s absurd guesstimate and valuation?

It all boils down to asset quality. If mbsb previously extended too much political and uncommercial loan, non-performing loan will continue to wipe off its previous earnings for many quarters to come if biz climate remains challenging in Msia.

This is like Ah long biz, super high margin. The only worry is widespread default, which could be just starting. Impairment of receivables can wipe out Current and previous profits in coming quarters.

Stockbroking firms saw irrational exuberance especially among retail players over glove counters, and then curtailed their credit risks accordingly. Their actions are totally appropriate.

To asses if Jaks is gonna pay dividend in future, you look at its past 10-15 years records especially during good or satisfactory quarters, as well as whether it formalises any official dividend policy. These, together with the yearly remuneration of CEO, are critical factors in assessing how the controlling shareholder treats minority shareholders.

Kyy gave you a base target price of rm4.70. He wants you to buy the share up so he can unload at rm4. Covid is a one-off phenomenon and will last for about one year. Thereafter, the profits of comfort will return to normal, pre-Covid level and will grow about just 10% a year from there. The same is true of all glove companies. Comfort should be worth rm1.50 to rm2 in the next 5 years.

No performance has been reported all these years. Just sitting on a licence? It’s other biz segment, if it includes insurance, has been reporting minimal revenue with losses.

No insurance biz lah. Mana ada? Ah yap and Japanese boss like to mention the company generates positive operating cash flow but they invariably didn’t continue to say that the amount is smaller than the combined big capex and income taxes It needs to pay. This causes net cash outflow from the company each year. That’s why cannot pay dividend for two years by now. He thinks the shareholders are stupid or what. If manufacturing latex glove chemicals can make money, then do it. Fund the capex by selling non-core biz and assets.

Wah. They are diversifying into manufacturing of latex glove chemicals. Good.
But The ceo should be sacked. Times were bad in 2019, they still spent RM33m on capex, only to produce loss after tax again. Now, they say company has no money to pay dividend.

Check properly the dividend!. Every quarter without fail It gave 1sen, and then reduced it to 0.5sen. How could you be so careless as to say dividend a year is likely 1.5sen?
