Canone rebound......

I thought mkh already gradually settle the usd borrowings, but from the latest report, they still having usd73.75mil borrowings (Q3 was usd77.5mil, Q2 was usd81.25mil, Q1 was usd85mil). they have to speed up the usd borrowings settlement as the forex loss for Q4 was rm18mil, 2015 forex loss rm36.9mil

they already gave 12sen so far, dividend yield 8.2% at current price of 1.45

the logs timber profit margin more than 50%, what a big margin compare to another operators !!! how they make it..... TaAnn's margin is around 30%

they got another contract of 500 acres forest to extract and sell logs timber in pahang recently. plus the current area of 1423 acres, total 1923 acres.

definitely canone won't get any dividend until the court case completed. however the value of kianjoo no longer 3.30, it worth more than 4.00 if anybody wanna takeover it.

what canone different from johor tin is canone got kianjoo. kianjoo net profit in Q3 is 45,523,000 and canone own 32.9% stake in kianjoo, means that kianjoo contribute 14,977,000 to canone's profit. this profit divided by total share of canone 192,153,000, equal to eps 7.8sen. so canone Q3 eps more than 16sen should be no problem.

pintaras has to show their ability to secure new projects, at leat 1, even a small 1.

if still didn't secure any contract in coming quarters, pintaras will be die, nothing can stop the share price to drop. result is everything.

Pintaras set their margin too high, customer turn to econpile for better price.

Pintaras released 2016 Q1 result, revenue drop 44% and net profit drop 42%. Pintaras received only 1 contract in year 2015. I already forsee the result will be poor.

don't worry about the business, fajar has acquired 500 acres logging area in pahang as stated on 9 oct. more and more logging area will be acquire soon. let see.

if you look at their monthly production output, the logs output was increased 26% from 2015Q4 (Apr-Jun) from 50,573 m3 to 63,927 m3. with the current market of logs around usd280 per m3, it turn to revenue of usd17.9mil = rm75mil. if margin 30%, profit = rm22.5mil, eps 6.8sen (logs business only)

i felt disappointed when fajar declared their involvement in logging business last year. further disappointed me when look at fajar's financial result where they didn't perform well in their construction sector and property development sector. these 2 factors caused me sold out all my stake in fajar in july and august last year. but last 2 months, when fajar released their final quarter result, even loss, i really surprised when noticed that their logging business perform very well. from that time, i started accumulate fajar. from 35sen.

Recently bullish of cpo price and ffb output increase plus the reduce of debt in usd will benefit to mkh plantation biz

Foresee coming result will be good due to contribution from logging biz and property development from australia

fajar did very well in logs production business. the section will continue contribute positively to the group in next 5 years. the property in australia has achieved 80% sales, and the construction will start on early sept 2015. property projects in puchong and sentul will also be start end of 2015 and early 2016 respectively.

they have took into account on bargain purchase gain of rm78.7mil on the nomad group acquisition (means that they purchase the nomad group with undervalued of rm78.7mil).

fajar's log & timber business starts contribute profit to the group. latest quarter contribute revenue 12.4mil and profit before tax 2.6mil. annualised will be 49.6mil and 10.4mil respectively.
deduct 25% tax, net profit will be 7.8mil, it turn to eps 2.4sen (log and timber business only). furthermore, property development will start contribute profit to the group in next coming 2 to 3 quarters. so time to collect fajar now.

alliance's report just out recently and mkh share price up these 2 days from 2.18. settlement of usd85mil was encouraged as this more or less will reduce forex loss impact in plantation sector.

share price up due to report from alliance research. according to report, mkh's plantation worth rm1.1bil and mkh has settled usd85mil on debt amidst strong usd currency since march this year. this will reduce the risk of mkh in facing forex loss in plantation sector. mkh faced rm13.8mil in plantation sector last quarter.

as the leaders of company, they have responsible for looking for any good deal to increase the value of company and avoid any unfair deal that cause all shareholders in loss. don't forget we paid them salaries.

MSWG was "puzzle" on Canone deal pointed out the deal was unfair to shareholders of canone. those who attend the the egm on 28 may, please reject the proposal on the acquisition. it was totally unfair to us.

it seen acquisition of nomad was confirmed. no wonder plenitude drop 5 sen today.

i have received circular from canone regarding the acquisition of remaining 20% of f&b. i think this is not a good deal because the vendor who hold this 20% of f&b company, after the acquisition will hold 20.69% of entire canone. according to fye 2014, the vendor's 20% of f&b company only contribute pat 7.22mil to canone, but the pat will become 14.69mil after hold 20.69% of canone.

In fact, i am not agreed with plenitude take over nomad. plenitude is poor in managing hotel business. just look at hotel in tanjung bungah, spent 35mil for renovation and reopen in oct 2013, until now is still facing loss.

they change the financial year ended 31 dec instead of 31 mar every year.
