@MasterYoda Please enlighten me how is Scomi going to kaput? Debt problem solved, Prasarana job is ongoing. And management injecting money in hope to pursue new leads. So, what is kaput? Who is in denial?

IJM has guranteed that they will subscribed to all its rights issues entitled to them, whereas SAL and Sammy Tse (CEO) has also said they will subscribed to their entitled plus any excess which are not subscribed. The 3 biggest shareholders has showed us that are willing to put more money to a company, which means they are hoping for a better Scomi. All we need to do is be patient as management sort out the mess in Scomi and win new projects, hopefully some in China with SAL's help

I think for those who havent bought, should just wait and see approach. Whereas, those who bought. Just hold it as management slowly take steps to turnaround the company

So, anyone can share whats management outlook for Armada and what they going to do to build value for shareholders?

I think although the debt has been settle, the thing that is scaring people off is the rights issue ans share consolidation which means generally investors dont like when company do cash calls. But I think the good thing is IJM has guaranteed that it will subscribed all of its RI which is a good sign by Scomi's largest shareholder to all shareholders that they don't mind adding capital. But, again IJM is in this for the long term, those who can't wait will exit first as other companies present better opportunities.

I think once it will take few months for the recapitalisation exercise to complete. Can't do much but wait.

Any conclusion from the AGM ? Please share?

@Drybz If he want make money by goreng he won't in money now, but in money before this when it shoot to 0.145. Now he put in money to Scomi as advance means he has skin in the game as SAL and IJM.

Hmm, I holding Scomi for sometime now expecting a turnaround with new investor. Market was worried that Scomi has no financing to settle debt, but now with new investor coming in with the recapitalisation, it seems market is so negative about it from the proposal. Scomi back at square one. I agree with @Eric thatIJM willing to gurantee to recapitalise Scomi because they think the business with SAL can grow, if not they will not make such commitments.

Question is what can SAL bring to the table? Anyone have suggestions?

BM news only can confirm in mid June, so patience is needed. Their toll assets well worth to buy at this price.

I don't see from their latest quarter any short term debt has been re-classified? I only see that its in progress, whether successful no one knows yet. So, @Investorking, the question whether they need cash from rights issues needs to be asked. Or they confident that their asset sale can cover.

At AGM, please inquire how management to deal with financing gap? Is there a possibility for right issue? Or Management is quite confident they can handle the short term debts.

You think so easy to cut toll fares? Concessions are in black and white, to cut toll fares means govt need to bear the compensation cost. Even if they buy out tolls like they did for Gamuda, Gamuda have said that it will be based on market valuation, fair price.

Why Armada Claire will impairment when its idle?

Even FD need 1 year to make 4%, you think PP holder worried about short term loss, he is looking at the long term potential of Ekovest.

true @derrtan we must understand PP not stupid, they want return on capital better than FD. So, they wont buy in for 1-2%. They have 10-20% year or year

Quarter will be diluted by 15% since PP and warrants. So don’t expect it to be great. It will be okay.

If drop why complain. Buying good growth at cheap valuation, buy more.

Ekovest won't buy IWC. dont make sense. IWC is losing business, the minority shareholder have rejected the deal last time and will again. The only deal make more sense is IWH and Ekovest for Bandar Malaysia.

Why would IWC and Ekovest merge? IWH is the one in need of funds

@John Lu how does IWC take over Ekovest make sense. They dont have sufficient cash flow to do so. Ekovest take over IWC is feasible.
