i think market react not mainly due to MRT2... it is because from MRT2 negotiation, seems very obvious now Gamuda have bad connection/relationship with PH government... In coming future how Gamuda gonna survive without government project... bidding on commercial building ? no... they already used to 1 billion and above project.... i suspect next few days Gamuda price will slow diarrhea...if you wanna invest in Gamuda, buy in batches... don't sailang, you will easily get trapped.

New liquid egg factory will also double up current capacity. According to management which mentioned in AGM, liquid egg have good strength in mitigating headwinds due to higher margin and lower competitors (instead there is only 2 players in liquid egg business in Malaysia only)

Price is just overacting due to speculators, if you are value investor, just buy in batches... this company have huge potential in increasing revenue which is due to new food processing factory start operate this month, double up current capacity, open up opportunities for food export and more recipes from NH Food for new products launch. When one by one new product launch in coming months, you will see value of the company spiking due to positive news catalyst. And Don’t forget another new liquid egg factory almost completed and will start operate coming December.

Read properly what is being said in AGM. It is not as bad as what you think, current drop from 71 to 58 cents already taking in the headwinds... Actually management just mentioning there are headwinds due to RM causing the feed price increase, company is taking multiple strategy to mitigate it. Guys, NH Food bought layhong at 58 cents few years ago. At that time, they just plan to build new factory. Today this factory already just completed and start operate, why so panic? ESOS at 58 cents, NH Food bought layhong share also 58 cents last time... this is a very good entry price already.

observing the forum past 2 months, when forum people started to be negative and cut lost, thats mean the price is gonna rebounce soon... because the shark has collected enough from the people who cut lost...

@60cents already PE10, enough safety margin for consumer stock. this stock is recession proof stock, even with financial crisis, people still need to eat egg, nugget and chicken.

PE 20 still on the high side... probably PE15 around 50 cents can start accumulate...

i really feel is a positive news/attempt, at least even with current healthy order book, Malton still aggressively seeking opportunity oversea to buffer the slow construction market in Malaysia. That's mean at least the company is doing something to improve.

This is March news post but it quoted the important information of growth due to new plant completion.

“Furthermore, the completion of a new processing plant would boost earnings of the joint-venture with NH Foods Ltd. 2) to mitigate the effect of RM depreciation, company is adopting several approach: to focus on functional egg, to increase liquid egg production (higher margin, new factory will be ready on Dec), and to adjust the % of the feed combination (soy + corn) depends on the cost.

3) Retails business already turn to profit from lost, profit will continue in forecast.

just be patience, many people take profit before AGM before they scare there will be right issue. it will rebounce soon when dusts are settled. there is No right issue. ESOS will increase company cash flow and reduce the financial cost...

he can just easily sell in market at 28 cents for more money, but he choose 20 cents off market deal. think deeper, why? he do not want to disturb the market. if you read UOB report after interview with management, they have to sell some portion of their warrant because they cannot convert all of their holding due to regulations. according to regulations, once you have 30% ownership, you cannot increase your holding more than 2% or 3% (i forgot exact %) per year.

yap family spend more than 10 years to build up this business, until today Nutriplus brand is well known to almost all household in Malaysia. Yap family owned 30% of the company and didn't sell a single mother share. NH Food business partner is world 4th biggest food processing company, they own 20% of the company. Both of entities are chairing the AGM today. Do you think after AGM today they will release something bad news that harm their own precious effort? the good news in hand, at least we firm to know the 2 factories are near to completed/or completed.

I respect Yap, who start and develop the whole family business to public listed company by own hand and no by family wealth. from his previous move to import Japanese partner NHF into the business and create win-win deal for export market, he is a businessman with wisdom and vision. I very confidant that he can handle the coming AGM well with good clarifications to clear all doubt. When all doubt is cleared, there is no more low price chance to accumulate share already. Believe or not, up to you.

No need to panic and cut loss due to 1-2 cents drop, accumulate slowly stage by stage and average up. With 2 new factory started the revenue generation engine this month, Lay hong will reap the rewards with great growth potential. Factory completed means lesser expenses on Capex and Factory started to run means more revenue incoming. Don't forget one of the new factory will double up the food processing volume, and targeted for export, which is benefits from RM depreciation.

Yap can just dispose his warrant at 28 cents in the open market for more money, but he choose to sell it to his partner off market at discount price 20 cents. from this move, i believe this partner should be a friendly partner, which is planning to convert the warrant later. Also Yap choose off market deal because he do not want to disturb the market. He did not sell a single mother share.

today low volume, pause a while, take a breath, then move on to next target. the average PE for layhong for previous many years is between PE 20-25.. now is only PE 13, plus next quarter should have improved results due to lower feed price and higher egg price, plus improved revenues from new liquid egg factory and new NHF food processing factory ready this month...

Yap just sold his unconvertable warrant due to regulation restrictions below market price to his friend... it is just transfer of warrant ownership...it is his money, he has the right to do so, no need to make a big fuss... also I believe Yap sure have a valid reason to support his move because he dare to sold them one week away from AGM, obviously he is prepared to clarify it in AGM.

warrants are disposed because they are restricted by rules and cannot convert all of their holding into mother share. They didn't sell a single mother share, did they ? so no need to worry... this anouncement will just cause short term retrace, and good chance for us to topup again....

yes this friday AGM... everyone is expecting good news and doubt to be cleared during AGM, thats why the price is gaining momentum to recover back now...

i'm restrict myself to sell now, i confidant layhong will goes back to 90 cents one or two months time after the management has clarify all doubts during AGM this friday...

as mahsing now is focusing on affordable housing, i believe with the new housing policy which is due to announced anytime soon from now and also the budget 2019 on Nov, which might be lessen the restriction on bank loan and will be a significant boost for affordable housing area...

I tried the japan premium nutriplus chicken karage last week... juicy fried chicken thigh... selling RM7+ in small pack in 99speedmart... have a try and you will see the potential... I went to Aeon Big and check also, can't find any other similar competitors offering similar premium product... i see the potential in this niche premium processed food market from layhong.
