iloveking88 & cropsickle, i think this is the story about nasal swab (which i mentioned much earlier before).

K1 purchased a 3D printer from a reputable US company, name is not mentioned, but i checked about nasal swab 3D printer, the supplier is certified by US NIH (National Institute of Health). That made the news in early June, agreed?

Now, K1 got the printer, they source the raw materialS they could manufacture swabs now. Two things could happen, the 3D printer works well according to manufacturer instruction, producing swabs that look alright.

Second, machine is not functioning well and need adjustment. K1 called supplier to fix it. That will delay the certification process.

If machine works well, K1 would apply MDA audit and audit schedule and plan will be established. MDA people came audit, few NCs were raised. K1 team carried out corrective actions. Serious corrective actions will take longer time. That may cause delay. Swabs sample sent to IMR for performance tests. Result came back, FAIL! Have to conduct investigation to find root cause. Maybe due to raw material. Have to search the right raw mat. That caused delay. Swab samples resent to IMR for retest. Hopefully this time will pass.

I was in industrial accreditation and certification line. A bit of MD certification experience, more on drugs certification. In the event of urgency, we could apply for fast track audit. Certification can be obtained reasonably fast IF everything is in place. When I said fast, it is 3-4 weeks. But really tiring la, 12-14 hours working including weekends, write SOPs, do internal audit, collect data, do statistic analysis, etc. Many factors determine the success of a certification program. We call it 5M + 1A; Man, Machine, Material, Method and Accommodation.

However, if serious NCs that involves external parties like suppliers or may involve modification of facilities, hmmm, that will cause huge delay and somebody will get hanged upside down and kena whacked.

minggoong, i think i am not the only one who everyday wishing to hear announcement since early June and heart broken at end of the day when it was not.

it is alright for Mgmt and BOD not to buy back share coz it will use company cash. i support their move. it is not their full time job to goreng share. however, they should be proactively do something to add value to their share. like announcement, sales contracts, etc etc.

NASA doesn’t not approve that god damn ventilator. NASA designed that ventilator and hold the patents. Because of covid, NASA offer this design patent to interested and quality parties like K1 to manufacture en-mass.
K1 still not yet manufacturing en-mass because need to set up production line. When it will ready? they said end of 2020.
This ventilator must get authority approval before can sell, because it is a medical device.

Same goes with nasal swab, they bought a god damn 3D printer from a “reputable” USA supplier who is approved by NIH. But the actual products must be approved by authority which is MDA under MOH

cropsickle, regardless other counters performance, i believe we K1 investors deserved explanation why its value depreciate 27% from its June peak (from 0.55 to 0.40) despite all the encouraging points that you mentioned.

i also buy heavily in Genting & Oil stock. Both are depreciating, that i could comprehend. At least my oil stocks are not consistently sliding and follow crude price trend very tightly. Genting depreciation is expected as covid sentiment is still very much negative. But i really cannot brain K1 lor.
