Dubious as you said, I see its financial position being 'inscribed' by the earlier rights subscribers paying for a CMMS business competitor in excess of 20x of 'book worth, rather than the subsequent operating merits (if any) from the earlier acquisition,indicated by the unfulfilled profit guarantee of 7.5m/year or cumulative 15m for 2 years post-acquisition, which was part of the deal. It remains clear that the CMMS business acquisition should deliver the profit guarantee if one regard independently the recent fintech business development and which call for another round of fund raising. Only the shareholders would know if they had been duped earlier.. :)

moneykj Many factors decide the share price. Definitely Orion disadvantage in share holding spread. If just calculating base on mathematics, the progress of share price, let's say Orion price at 0.20 before q, the highest it can achieve is 1100% from 0.105.

moneykj Why I look here look there Orion very similar to 1 stock king I in 2014:

1. No of share: both also about 600m
2. Start to goreng from 0.105
3. Both start after announcement of government link project. Both fintech. "I" doing GST collection software for government. ("I" macam don't do GST collection software for govt wor. Is it their application is GST compliant?)
4. Cumulative 4 q earning after start goreng was 30m for "I". Cimb estimated Orion can come to highest 29m for 2019. (no track record for Orion.....how?)
5. Both also start from weak results. "I" only 421k. Orion 1m. (Their CMMS.....supposedly to deliver the profit guarantee of 7.5m/year? not achieved....how? Shareholders paid 73m in return for profit guarantee from CMMS business.....cannot smell to-date and now need extra funds to enter new business line to try to meet earlier unmet profit guarantee? )
6. The same analyst, Cimb analyst covered both (Nigel Foo?)

One famous anei behind the rise of "I". I believe he is also behind Orion...Guess who... (Brahmal through Creador?)

"I" rose more than 1500%. How will Orion doing? (500% can?)

@UnicornP: thank you for sharing. There is no convincing ground at this stage that they could deliver the profit guarantee of 7.5m/yr or the 15m cumulative. If the last RI price of 17 sen reflects the 'value' of ASAP as part of their operations, then it would make financial sense that the PP price this round should be more than 17 sen since the acquisition of additional 10% of Sukaniaga would unlock greater value beyond that of ASAP for Orion as a whole. If the profit guarantee had been delivered, raising the funds for the acquisition could have been fulfilled without extensive PP which has a dilutive effect on shareholders too.

You wish the same cimb accord a tp of 70 sen to Orion like Armada, right? Haha

Artificial inflation is when they recognise something beyond what the awarded sum accord. Or you mean deferred recognition? Hahaha

@nopainnogain....they need some stabilisation to 'stabilise' their PP price..

:) I dunno how they are going to fulfill the profit guarantee, my friend, and I mean actualised profit from operations..even if they write back the prior provision for LD, 7.5m is a challenge and let's forget about the 15m. So.......how are they going to assure the PP participants that they are presenting a value proposition without prior track records? :)

Shinnzaii ozzie 75...but their cost of sales still high...after 2 years also dunno can sustain profit or not...hehe

Just some thoughts:

1. Profit guarantee of 15 mill for 2 years or 7.5m/year remains unseen to-date, subsequent to ASAP acquisition at some 20x of book value previously. Value of ASAP acquisition and the ability of the management remained a big question mark;

2. With 1 at large, the fund raising attempt is based on (yet again) another round of verbal promise of good business potential through a relative young business outfit;

3. With earlier rights issue price at 17 sen for ASAP, and if the new fund to be raised is to enhance the overall business value of Orion in excess of that from ASAP, private placement price should be approximate or higher than earlier fund raising price, if there is truly value enhancement to Orion. Else, lower private placement price suggest a discounted value potential of Orion (?)


Not a sell/buy call. :)

Calvin, I am grateful to walk away completely with multiple-fold returns from the then GST fever. We all know for a fact that as a retailer we can't fight trend and there is significant gap for the margin of safety (something that you preached all along?) for IFCA.
