Commonly known that shale needs about USD50/barrel to remain in biz, and these shale producers are probably borrowing heaps to finance their biz, with interest rate hike is just going to make the cost of borrowing more and the lower oil prices go the more choked their necks are. If OPEC dun want to cut production then is probably to kill those shale producers. hehe..i think so lah.

dexeric If no production cut... some industry will wither. Those who can survive is the one with low cost of production and strong cashflow.

If trump dun friend xi... they will not make any agreement. All positive outlook in US market will also suffer.

Dragon...if fuel d usd go opposite direction...usd had been strengthening since the Fed went on with rate hike and for the last few months till the recent 1/3 price drop fuel had been climbing leh..how come ah?

titus I think the next to watch is the upcoming OPEC meeting. The entire market expecting them to cut. If the meeting and no clear indication of them cutting the output or how much the going to cut and by when, it will add more volatility to crude oil price. The upcoming fed meeting is also something to look out for. If fed increase interest, USD will strengthen. Historically, fuel and usd go opposite direction.

The outstanding shares are cornered by few individuals and probably 20% floating out there by small retailers, the former are the true volume makers.

They are probably ramping up for the cold winter....but....who trust those numbers from a creative country?
