ks55 who bought at RM 3 thinking special dividend can rescue him? Now he is sitting on 90 sen loss.

Those asking purpose of shares buy back is Parkson think it is undervalue hence need to support buying it everyday. It also means Parkson is putting its cash(everyday buy back need hundred RM K each day) to good use. Each time share dividend top Parkson shareholders increase their shareholdings.

Visited sales showroom recently but find no buyers.

Dubious accounting is what Puncak has. What cannot give more dividend? Why cannot have shares buyback?

Cheating company 40 sen is Puncak fair value.

If compare other retailers eg Aeon, Suiwah, The Store, etc Parkson is still the cheapest. Parkson NTA RM 2.73 meaning we are buying a house RM 273K for only RM 94K worth or not judge yourself.

Top 2 shareholders ie William Cheng and Tabung Haji never sell their holdings in fact increase them in past 6 mths filing.

As proven many times ks55 is a liar(many other times he deleted his postings). SSEC does not drop 7% and suspend whole day.

Tuesday's performance will depend on Monday's Wall Street closing........

Good to keep more cash at least until next Wednesday.

Unlike Parkson which has initiated shares buy back none is done in Puncak despite so call cash rich. Upon checking I find the money is used for paying high salary to directors ie RM 18.286 million. This is yet to include other staffs salaries. Even Rozali dare not buy his own shares unlike Parkson WC who has bought some shares not long ago.

Padini sales are from M'sia whereas Parkson also has outlets in China, S'pore, Indonesia, etc. If compare profit same qtr Parkson made RM 63.29 million vs Padini RM 31.8 million or about 2 times.

Kenanga(which cover Crescendo) share price only 50 sen compare to Public Bank RM 18. That show how good or bad their analyst is.

Even Public Invest(M'sia no 1 mutual trust company) regard Parkson highly with TP RM 1.48. Parkson has more outlets and sales than Padini despite only half Padini price.

You are right PennytoDollar. Parkson has a lot of cash hence share buy back almost every day using hundreds of thousand RM every day. This is something no other stocks in Bursa can do like Parkson.

Shares buy back finally reach 1% yesterday. Meaning what? If Parkson decide to give share dividend 1% meaning those having 10,000 shares can get extra 100 shares your total Parkson shares become 10,100. Of course Parkson shares buy back does not stop at only 1%.
