EPF is the second largest shareholder of GLC such as MAH, IHH and MISC with a 13% shareholding in MAH, 12% in MISC and just under 10% in IHH. MISC is trading at a PE of above 15 and a dividend yield I believe of under 5%. For years IHH trades at a PE of over 30 and a yield of around 2%. MAH lost a total of about RM1.8 billion in 2020 and 2021. Yet both MAH and MISC are trading at above RM7 a share while IHH is above RM5.80. Non has earnings and dividend yields comparable to RHB Bank but EPF is just unwilling to support RHB to a price that RHB Bank deserves.

Little Johnny is very disappointed today. He has prayed very hard for MRCB to drop to 38 sen today so that he can afford to buy but MRCB has staged a recovery. It should remain unchanged today though earnings has dropped by over 90%.

Ikan bilis like Johnny can't afford to buy Maybank which is 20+ times more expensive than MRCB. He can't even afford to buy MRCB, only can afford to buy MRCB call warrants. Make RM40 but informed the whole world that he has made RM40k.

Just tell me how many are like you and inform the whole world his little profits (actual profit X 100 times). Just name me how many have done so. You could be the only one. Unfortunately, no one has any faith in you and prefer to trust the IBs more. MRCB has gone up from 30 sen at the beginning of the year to 43 sen today or up by more than 40%. More than half of my fund is invested in Maybank and RHB Bank. Only a fool would think that I suffer losses so far this year. Empty vessels would announce to the whole world after making some money. Those who have made a lot would keep quiet.

Some Maybank investors have made millions but they have never bragged about their success. Only an empty vessel/tin kosong would think he has made a lot of money and need to inform the whole world.

Just hold on to your Keck Seng shares tightly, no need to sell. At over RM100/ft2, the price which Cresendo sold several parcels of its land in Pulai, Keck Seng's land in Pulai area is already worth over RM2 billion.

EPF often buys and sells shares for no apparent reason.

Earnings just drop a little bit but share price drops more. Even if it maintains its earnings at 15 16 sen again in the final quarter, its full year eps is still over 67 sen a share, translating in to a PE of less than 9.

Over 98.5% of Maybank shares are in the hands of those who own over 100,000 Maybank shares. A speculator won't know this fact.

An investor's investment portfolio reflects his financial standing. To a tin kosong, he thought a RM50,000 investment is a lot of money and making a couple of hundred Ringgit would push him up to cloud nine.

The person who said averaging down is "situpid" is even more situpid himself. Just over two years ago, the average cost of my investment in MRCB was just over 50 sen a share. As the price dropped, I continued to buy in small quantities until about 34 sen and managed to bring down my average cost to about 45 sen. Had I continued to average down to 29 sen, my average cost would have been lower. My average cost is slightly lower now as I had disposed of some at around 50 sen. What have you got to say now?

Maybank is a very dependable company. It had already increased its interim dividend payment by 1 sen a share to 29 sen. Even a one sen increase in the final dividend would bring total dividend payment for this year to 60 sen a share, giving a yield of 6.6%.

Up one or two sen a day, should reach RM5 soon but still a long way from my target price.

Testing investors' patience. Many who are unwilling to wait might have sold their MRCB shares.

Full year earnings should increase by more than 10%, judging from earnings in the half way mark. Share price has not moved at all.

Sometimes disposals by substantial shareholders can make small investors worry.

Not so early, possible on Friday but more likely next week.

Including the dividends, Keck Seng has already risen by more than 40% from its lows in April. Not a bad achievement but still a long way to go to reach its intrinsic value.

DBS is trading at Sing$32 or RM110 a share. Its market cap is $82.5 billion or RM286 billion, 2.6 times Maybank's market cap. Maybank has a lot of room for growth.

It was trading at above 70sen a share in early 2020. It surely would return to its pre pandemic levels. I am quite sure this would happen before the next GE.

Those who had the gut to buy Maybank at around RM7 a share in early Nov 2020 by now should have a return of over 50%, including dividends.
