10 years ago, KLCI was slightly above 1,800 points, S&P was around 2,000 points. Today, S&P has gone up to over 5,500 points but our KLCI is still struggling at 1625 points. Nasdaq has performed much better. Falls in the US won't have any lasting effect on our market.

Wow! Calvin the Tua Pao has toned down a lot already. A few weeks ago, you wrote that given time, Nusantara would overtake Hong Kong, Tokyo, Shenzhen etc. You are being very humble today but Putrajaya is only a very small town with a population of less than 150,000. You can't build 6 or 7 star hotels there.

I don't expect its eps to exceed 6 sen a share this year. How much dividend can you expect? If you want dividend yields exceeding 5 or even 6%, perhaps can consider buying bank counters.

Even if the judge rules in favour of Tokio Marine and RHB Bank has to pay a couple million of compensation, it won't make a dent in RHB Bank's bottom line. What is say RM3 million to RHB Bank's earnings of around RM2.9 billion?

The last time Maybank traded ex dividend, it took only one week for its share price to claw back to its pre ex dividend price. It would be much more difficult this time as Maybank's share price has gone up quite substantially over the past one year.

"It's NTA cannot be RM8.75 after listing. The moment it got listed, it's liabilities ballooned.."
@gohkimhock, its liabilities shouldn't balloon but the number of shares in circulation could have increased by 100 times.

@speakup, Do you think its nta should be RM8.75 a share as shown in the quarterly report?

@JJPTR, check the company's latest quarterly report.
Total assets = RM2.836 billion
Total liabilities = RM2.136 billion
Net assets = RM700 million.
Total number of shares = 8.4 billion
Not difficult now to work out its nta

Don't just cherry pick Calvin the Tua Pao. You recommended JCY recently when it was trading at above 85 sen, claiming it served the entire world. How much is JCY today? Another two counters recommended by you recently, Notion and Hexcap also fall badly.

Calvin the Tua Pao, 4 weeks ago you posted the above comment. Another 6 digit gain apart from Jtiasa and PM Corp and many others.
Who can be so crazy as to build 6 and 7 star hotels in the Kalimantan jungles?
Others have fondly called you "Clown" or "Tua Pao" on this forum. I don't dare to compete with you. Out of your over 56,000 thread, I can easily pick out at least 5,000 comments in which you bragged about your capability.

Amanah Saham Bumiputra has disposed of over 400 million Maybank shares over the past three years, reducing its stake in Maybank from 34.79% three years ago to 30.45% today. Surprisingly, Maybank's share price went up from RM8 a share to RM10.90 today.

RHB Bank only started to move up about 2 months ago from around RM5.50 a share whereas CIMB Bank started to move up from RM5.50 about 9 months ago. I think RHB still has a long way to go. MACC's actions will only have a temporary effect on YTL Power's share price, the most important thing is it must maintain its earnings at the current level or even improve on it. AMMB Holdings was fined RM2.83 billion several years ago for its involvement in the 1MDB scandal. Its share price nose dived to around RM2.60 a share but with improved earnings, AMMB's share price has now exceeded RM5 a share.

"Dbs Bank is in Top 10 of Tsh with 38 million Tsh shares
Singapore Uob Bank in top 7 of Tsh with 46.4 millions Tsh shares"

Calvin the Tua Pao, are you dead sure that DBS and UOB respectively own 38 million and 46.4 million TSH shares or the banks are just nominees holding these shares for someone else just like Julius Baer holding Keck Seng shares on behalf of the Ho family? There is also a possibility that those shares are being pledged to the banks by some borrowers.

I think Oriental Holdings is a good and well managed company worth a second look. I have never bought this company before in my few decades of investment experience but have heard of its good performance and know that it is cash rich and had lost its Honda franchise in Malaysia many years ago. Just have a brief look at its annual report and now know it is a well diversified company.

When Covid 19 lockdowns triggered a world wide economic recession and resulted in Keck Seng posting losses in 2020, it immediately stopped paying dividends though it still had plenty of cash. The Genting group of companies, though suffering from several years of losses continued to pay reasonably good dividends. Keck Seng's profit increased by several folds in 2023 and 2024 but it only increased its dividend payout by a disproportionate amount.

Gong Kia Calvin is very concerned about Keck Seng's performance. Nothing to worry about this counter as I bought most of my Keck Seng shares over 20 years ago at an average cost of well under RM2.50 per share. I did buy some recently and lose around 5%. Unlike TSH with no net cash, Keck Seng has a net cash of RM1.1 billion (RM1.16 billion actually but I have allowed for a foreign exchange loss of about RM50 million due to Ringgit's sudden rise) and share investments exceeding RM400 million. It has other properties worth an estimated RM6 billion. You should worry about your 6 and 7 star hotels under construction in Nusantara now.

Gong Kia Calvin the veritable clown always shoots himself in the foot. Someone wrote that Malaysia would be locked out of the semiconductor supply chain should it join BRICS. I disagreed and commented that Malaysia is too insignificant and unlikely to be targeted by the US. This clown immediately called me a foolishinvestor and provided a link. The link only mentioned Trump would impose 10% tariffs on all US imports and several countries would be adversely affected, including Malaysia. No mention of any sanction should Malaysia join the BRICS. Such an interesting clown.

Gongkia Tua Pao, read my comment again. Should a 10% tariff on all US imports be imposed, it would affect many other countries as well, not just Malaysia. Are you so sure that Trump would be elected? The US won't impose sanctions on Malaysia just because it decides to join BRICS. Listen to this interview granted by your fellow countryman Kishore to enlighten youeself.

"When Ikn Nusantara is completed by 2045 it might overtake Putrajaya, Hong Kong, Tokyo, Beijing or Singapore"

Calvin the Tua Pao, three weeks ago you wrote the above comment. I think there is only one aspect that Nusantara might overtake Hong Kong, Tokyo, Beijing or Singapore. "Read carefully

Read TSH's latest annual report. The report stated TSH has 48,913 hec (120,814 acres). Another piece of land was given in acres --2387 acres. Which is more reliable? Do you believe in TSH or Kenanga. I thought you often condemn IBs.

This morning you claimed TSH has 200,000 acres. Which is which now?
"200,000 acres of lands purchased with high loan repayment finally emerge net cash positive this year"
