DS reached its peak@2.42 on 1st April 2014.It broke downward the 200 days MA on 26th Sept 2014 but subsequently attempted to re-penetrate UPWARD the 200 days MA two times..13/10/2014 and 29/10/2014 but FAILED and price decline had accelerated with increasing volume since then.

The DS GODS had stated that their cost is only 20 cents but had been encouraging the unsuspecting, trusting and gullible to buy DS as a blue chip long term investment for a stock with 2 years biz history....whereas they had been selling....They had already realized handsome gains as their cost is VERY LOW......imagine selling at 2.40 (12 bagger), 2.30( 11.5 bagger), 2.20(11 bagger), 2.10(10.5 bagger), 2.0(10 bagger), 1.90(9.5 bagger), 1.80(9 bagger), 1.70(8.5 bagger), 1.60( 8 bagger), 1.50(7.5 bagger), 1.40(7 bagger), 1.30(6.5 bagger), 1.20(6 bagger), 1.10(5.5 bagger), 1.0(5 bagger), 0.90(4.5 bagger), 0.80(4 bagger), 0.70(3.5 bagger), 0.60(3 bagger), 0.50(2.5 bagger), 0.40(2 bagger), 0.30(1.5 bagger)...

DS is ALREADY A CONFIRMED down trending stock...no body knows what is DS final bottom price...the DS gods will also know the difference between realizing gains at 2.40 to realize a 12 bagger gain rather than holding on to paper gain which is fast depreciating...even at price of say 30 cents, it is still a 1.5 bagger for the DS Gods...hmm...even at 30 cents the DS gods still make money!!! this begets a second question....will these DS gods ride the downtrend to its future bottom price or they rather cash out to buy at cheaper price later since "FUTURE PROSPECT ALREADY DENTED" and nobody knows for sure what will be DS final bottom price????

Its true as cost is volume dependent...

I am 100% OUT of Oil & Gas Stocks....While crude oil prices is trying its best to find a bottom, it is best to leave crude oil some space and all the time it needs to find its bottom price. Once it has confirmed its bottom price it will go sideways...meanwhile I will monitor the performance of some Oil & Gas stocks but just do nothing...I will do nothing until Oil price has bottomed out and stabilized...at what price level...how long will this take....its anyone's guess....I wont waste my time on it...meanwhile I just relax and focus on which non Oil & Gas counters will benefit from cheap oil!!!!

I will not impose my views on the future situation which is unknown...I just observe latest news, think about its impact on my Oil & Gas counters and thereafter made quick decision to SELL ALL early this morning...

Major producer of shale oil is USA...USA is biggest Oil producer. OPEC had been overproducing and will continue to do so...OPEC could not unanimously agree...looks like Oil price will go below USD 70/barrel soon and stay there for quite some time...the weak players will be weeded out in that process...PETRONAS will earn less and the Malaysian govt will most likely get lesser dividends from PETRONAS in the future....

Waiting for my second 10 cents dividend from TAANN due on 29/12/2014..TAAAN PE , EPS and Dividend payment is better than JTiasa although both have similar turnovers....TAANN DY is 5.14% ....better than FD rate.....hahahaha

EVERGREEN closed up today..one of the rare stocks that went against KLSE down closing. EVERGREEN broke above its 200 MA on 31/10/2014 and had always stayed above its 200 days MA since then. Its UPTREND is intact. I can see Long term money coming into EVERGREEN, slow accumulation is taking place. One should just buy EVERGREEN now and hold long term. This is a potential 3 bagger stock within next 2 years.

This sophisticated plot had carried on since 2013 and was doing very well but the drastic drop in Crude Oil price interrupted the further continuation of their plans...the rest is history...as you all know it...

Are you feeling prosperous now? Your average is 1.82..when DS price crashed through its long term support at 1.70, you could have sold all at 1.69 and take a 7% loss. Your paper loss may even be higher than -34%.

Let me highlight the key points that I had made in my earlier post which is just before your current post...
-Invest in undervalued stocks...forget about stocks that is at very high price relative to its lows and which has too much expectation built into its price just like DS.
- INVEST IN STOCKS THAT REVERSES TO UPTREND OR EARLY UPTRENDING STOCKS AS EARLY UPTRENDING STOCKS WILL GIVE YOU THE HIGHEST CAPITAL APPRECIATION
-DONT INVEST IN STOCKS THAT IS ON DOWNTREND OR SIDEWAYS

I have never stated that KNM is an "UNDERVALUED STOCK" as olduncle had stated. My recommendation to Wayne is to buy "UNDERVALUED STOCKS" and I do not consider KNM as an undervalued stock. In fact KNM is extremely overvalued at current price and since you had for reasons best known to yourself brought up that I recommended KNM stock (which I do consider as extremely overvalued at RM 1.00 ) and stated that:

I will now look into KNM Technical charts since olduncle had mentioned KNM to ascertain whether olduncle is spot on with his TA readings on KNM. Based on my quick research, please be informed as follows:
-KNM price broke out and stay above the 200 MA when it was 48.5 cents on Jan 3 2014.
-KNM price broke down below the 200 days MA on 28/10/2014 and closed at 80.5 cents.
-KNM at RM 1.00 is at highest point above the 200 days MA.

Lets do a backtest on olduncle's favourite stock KNM using my recommendation to buy on early breakout above the 200 days MA and sell immediately on breaking down below the 200 days MA.

Since olduncle specifically mentioned KNM and it appears that olduncle likes KNM, olduncle can easily buy KNM at 49 cents a few days after Jan 3 2014. Based on my recommendation on selling, olduncle could easily sell KNM at 79.5cents after it broke down on its 200 days MA on 28/10/2014. Olduncle could easily make a capital gain of 30.5 cents thus giving a percentage gain of 62.2 % over 9 months of holding KNM.

Why do olduncle wants to buy KNM at highest point above it 200 days MA? In fact olduncle could also sell KNM at RM 1.00 and will make a capital gain of 104% over 6 months holding time

-Don't fall in love with any stocks no matter how good is that stock
-Capital preservation is utmost...you must do whatever it takes to preserve your capital if your invested stock does not perform
-The stock you invested in must make money for you, if not get rid of it even at a loss to free up capital for better investment stocks later
-You must have the mindset to cut loss to limit your loss if your invested stock does not perform. If you cant do that, you will incur huge paper loss. In that case better don't play the stock market, Just invest in property to get rental
-Invest in undervalued stocks...forget about stocks that is at very high price relative to its lows and which has too much expectation built into its price just like DS.
-Don't listen to rumours, latest hot news from insiders, got friend who is insider etc as you had noticed in DS forum..Dont be a gullible, unsuspecting and trusting with info volunteered in this thread from sifus.
- Always perform a basic financial evaluation to determine the intrinsic value of the stock and what is the stock price relative to the intrinsic value...
- Just remember this golden rule...BUY LOW, SELL HIGH or BUY HIGH,SELL HIGHER...If you buy higher but it get lower than your buy price, be prepared to cut out as capital preservation is paramount.
- Enroll yourself in a proper TA class to understand Candlestick patterns, TREND analysis(WHAT IS UPTREND, SIDEWAYS, DOWNTREND), What is RESISTANCE, SUPPORTS, REBOUND, TREND REVERSAL , BUY versus SELL Decisions from TA indicators.
-Understand Moving averages especially 50 days MA, 200 days MA and where is the stock price relative to these averages.
-If the stock price which always is above the 200 days MA suddenly goes below the 200 days moving average, just make the decision to SELL.
-If a stock which is always below the 200 days MA suddenly shoots above the 200 days MA with very high volume, just monitor the stock to see whether it stays above or goes below the 200 days MA after it retraces. If still above the 200 days MA after retracement, just make the decision to buy.
- INVEST IN STOCKS THAT REVERSES TO UPTREND OR EARLY UPTRENDING STOCKS AS EARLY UPTRENDING STOCKS WILL GIVE YOU THE HIGHEST CAPITAL APPRECIATION
- DONT INVEST IN STOCKS THAT IS ON DOWNTREND OR SIDEWAYS

Formula is as follows:
Dividend % x Par Value of 1 share= say x less corporate tax rate= y
So you multiply 10,000 shares by y= your total dividend payout

DS had never been in downtrend since early 2013 until recently lah...in the past it had corrected but still remain in UPTREND...DS trend had changed to DOWNTREND recently....first there will be intermittent corrections on the way down resulting in lower highs and lower Lows....thereafter it will bottom out.....go sideways....the savvy market will let you know the bottom price range.....to go uptrend it need fresh NEW catalysts....so far there is no new fresh catalysts.....please separate hope from reality...the reality is there is no fresh new catalyst...

Likewise if you manage subordinates and if any of your subordinates underperformed , I am very sure that you as the immediate superior, will have a meeting with your underperforming subordinate to understand the root causal factor for his or her underperformance , jointly review performance with your underperforming subordinate and thereafter agree on a future action plan to improve performance.
