Retailers get excited and start chasing. Price shoots further up. When the date of the supposed agreement nears, sharks start to dispose their shares to retailers. Retailers continue to accumulate as they think that an agreement will be reached. On the day of announcement, company announces that agreement is cancelled due to unforseen circumstances. Price of counter crashes. Retailers get stuck. Sounds familiar?

Another thing I have been thinking is, what if, the supposed agreement does not materialise? I mean there have been instances in the past where companies, in particular penny counters, that have entered into MOUs to lure punters, only for the price to collapse later after things fail to materialise. Sometimes one company can pakat with another company to do such things right? After all, it's just an MOU and MOUs are not legally binding.

How do you know that EKA will sign the contract so soon after Chinese New Year? I read that it still needs to do research and study about the feasibility of the product first.

Guys, look at the historical chart of EKA. Back in December 2009, there was also a candle with long wick above, together with increased volume - almost identical to the current situation. But the rally did not happen back then. It was more of a trap.

One thing I noticed is everytime 90% of the people are doom and gloom (remember august 2015?), the market will rebound. When everyone is in the state of euphoria (remember March/April 2015?), market will correct. And the bull will always come when everyone is still feeling indecisive/unsure. Eventually when everyone has confirmation that the bull has arrived, it will end.
