Betamek Berhad is a Malaysia-based investment holding company. The Company operates through its subsidiary, Betamek Electronics (M) Sdn. Bhd. Betamek Electronics (M) Sdn. Bhd. is engaged in providing full-service electronics manufacturing services, including designing, development, manufacturing, and marketing of electronic products and components for the automotive and consumer markets. The Company operates through two segments: Vehicle audio and visual products, and Vehicle accessories. The vehicle audio and visual products segment is engaged in designing and manufacturing vehicle audio products and components comprising car infotainment systems and audio video accessories. The vehicle accessories segment is involved in designing and manufacturing vehicle accessories, such as air conditioning control panels, universal serial bus (USB) chargers, mirror switches, switch clusters, and power sockets.

To be entitled for any of the above, you need to purchase the shares one trading day before the ex-Date. You will not be entitled for the above if you purchase the shares on or after the ex-Date.

On ex-Date, the price will be adjusted to reflect the theoretical market price of the stock after the entitlement. You can sell the shares on / after ex-Date and still be entitled to the corporate exercise. The key is to purchase the shares before ex-Date.

No application is needed. Shareholders that fulfill the requirement above will receive the dividend in their registered bank account on the payment date automatically.
