UMS Holdings Bhd is an investment holding company. The firm is engaged in the distribution of mechanical power transmission, material handling systems, and industrial spare parts. The company services a range of industries which include palm oil, sugar, quarry, cement, rubber, timber and the manufacturing sectors. The group has three reportable segments based on the geographical location: West Malaysia, East Malaysia, and Singapore. The revenue from West and East Malaysia are derived from the distribution of mechanical power transmission and material handling products and systems and industrial spare parts as well as trading of steel wire mesh. The revenue from Singapore is derived from trading in engineering products. West Malaysia contributes the most to the company's revenue.
