Some are still basking in the aftermath glory of the general election. Many are now disappointed and disillusioned with their empty promises. Racial and religious issues are the order of the day. The economy is in a tailspin. Income is low, while taxes and cost of living high. Insane and stupid policies are being churned out every day, and all this while, the people grouse and suffer. They are not delivering or seen to be delivering. There is no ‘Baru’. It is merely an extension of ‘Lama’; maybe even worse. The ‘M’ film should stand for ‘Malu’ instead. (Anonymous Citizen 1)
A bird in the hand is worth two in the bush. Harapan won because of the massive Chinese, Indian, as well as 30 percent of Malay votes. All Harapan had to do is to make sure this percentage is taken care of and work on the B40 which forms the big bottom of the demographic pyramid (esp those in Sabah and Sarawak). This will help to bring in the extra 20 percent bumi votes for an easy win in the 15th general election.
The struggles of those who had flown back just to make that change in GE14 were fast forgotten. Many work tirelessly on the ground. Thousands of others tried to gather as much support as they can through the alternate media, relatives, and friends. This was all done because of the love for the nation that they called home. The new government must show that this nation really belongs to all Malaysians and not to the selected few who make up only the top of the pyramid (T20). Sooner or later, people will realise who can really take care of their basic needs in the long run. They will be grateful and support the party that really paid attention to them. A lot of people don't realize after having plagued by excessive element of immaturity and bitterness caused by years of double standard and divisive policies and practices. It's hard for one to campaign for all Malaysians when we are constantly told we are different (some ethnicities are lazy and greedy but heaven-favoured; while others are dedicated, disciplined but hell-bound) and treated differently. Hopefully before they are shown the door, East Malaysia is given more electoral power a.k.a. more seats. So, by GE15, although PH may lose , but Malaysian will always win thereafter. (Notanonymous)
The first completed mission was related to the recent survey finding of the Kementerian Tatanegara (until 2020 known as Biro Tatanegara) that over 90 per cent of the nation's citizens agree with the declaration: “I am bumiputra first and Malaysian second”. Covering a sample of citizens over the age of 16, the survey's finding was announced over the government media stations, Berita and TV Mal-gibberish. According to the Supreme Minister, this sentiment - putting ethnicity above all other considerations in the national identity - had been advocated by the political giants of the country's history since independence. (Lim Teck Ghee in his article 'Malaysia Day 2063')
Msia is ailing. Look at the body. It is not coordinating. In the land of abundance, people are suffering. Diagnosis is diabetes. The bogus doctor in the house does not know his job. He brings in bomoh from India, thinking that prayers will solve the illness. Just examine the tissues (90 percent of civil servants) they are not healthy. He keeps a teacher to teach how to write worthless essays while being inspired by the bomoh. So where is it heading - of course, death bed. And now in such a critically ill condition- nothing to be proud of. Some pseudo experts (the good ones who are not recognized) claim there is no other way but must continue the traditional treatment. Going with the wrong prescription for rest of the days of terminal care seems to be the chosen course to take until death arrives. The wise ones know what to do but are either being sidelined or ignored. M is hence for malfunctioning.(Alfanso)
Pak Lah said Malaysia would have been bankrupt had he taken Mahathir's advice on spending. His predecessor has "inability to accept any other view except his own". He is set in his ways. And he believes that his way is the only way. When I tried to do things differently, he believed that I was doing things wrongly. "
Dompok said that when Sabah and Sarawak agreed to be part of Malaysia 56 years ago, the people in the two regions envisioned a nation celebrating its diversity and living in peace and harmony.
We are caught in a "Catch 22" situation. There is much to be done to improve the investment climate and to create employment. Unfortunately, the current turbulence in our politics distracts our leaders and diverts energy and resources from more productive activity. Instability, or the perception thereof, discourages investment. A troubled economy is also a feeding ground for extremists. We need visionary leaders to restore calm to our troubled waters. Some of our leaders served in the previous government whose policies and actions have brought the nation to this sad situation. Can they now transcend the politics of race and religion and work towards a vision that includes and benefits all? Can they convince the people of this country that only a united nation will succeed and that a divided nation will almost certainly fail? Can they move away from race-based parties, race-based politics and race-based policies? Can our leaders be leaders for all races and not just the community they come from? Is it possible for people of different races, religions and cultures to live together in peace and harmony and prove Huntington wrong? (DAVID DASS)
Unquote** That's why i said Pak Lah is my most admired, PM among all. The rest all MALU....Blind voters vote DEMON 2nd time as PM. Moron voters...wakaka

Pak Lah's main weakness is communication. He has no idea how to clear the air each time slanderous, defamation, wildless allegation unfairly thrown at him by DEMON KING. This demon king will be reborn as hungry ghost next time. Everything got Karma.....wakaka
Mostly majority Muslim voters are naive, not yet achieve a maturity level to discerning right and wrong. Thus, easily manipulated by politicians unfortunately using race, religion. Rojak PASUMBO will sieze back many votes in next GE, throw a credible challenge to Pakatun gomen. We spend MYR50billion in each year budget produce all lembu students voting lembu MP. wakaka
Only a "moderate Malaysia" that respects the rights of all races, religions and backgrounds in a diverse community can succeed in implementing the government's vision of "shared prosperity" and believes East Malaysia should play an important role. Sabah and Sarawak should step up and be the key decision-makers to reject this irresponsible fascist and racist politics. By adhering to the basic principle of a moderate Malaysia as outlined in the Federal Constitution, every Malaysian is part of the national fabric of unity, that is inclusive, not exclusive, and recognises differences without any discrimination, and shares responsibilities towards our problems and challenges, especially in achieving shared prosperity. (Finance Minister 2019)
Teratai Proposal – that Malaysians should dedicate the 15 days between Hari Merdeka on Aug 31and Malaysia Day on Sept 16 of every year as Malaysian Unity Season to emphasise and promote unity of diverse races, languages, regions, cultures and civilisations in Malaysia and to avoid division and disunity. There has not been a single Golden Age in human history which was founded on narrow-mindedness, kleptocracy and moral degradation. (LKS proposes having a broader vision towards golden age for Malaysia)
When it comes to the unity of races, Malaysia has always focused on the main three races – Malays, Chinese and Indians – putting aside the 57 ethnic groups found in Sabah and Sarawak.

We recently had a former national hockey player reminisce the past where he played in a national team that was really filled with a multiracial squad of great and talented players. He asked what happened to all the non-Malay students when it came to sports at the school level? The answer is simple - it all has to do with the supremacist policies which were religiously adhered to in the last two decades. It has resulted in a generation of youngsters from only one race who seem to be the new faces of our local sports. We don't seem to be seeing the Soh Chin Aun-Mokhtar Dahari- Santokh Singh and R Arumugam combination anymore in our local sports scene although we seem to reminisce the glorious past very often.(P Dev Anand Pillai)
“I am not Malaysian, but I am in Malaysia for 30 years. This is a beautiful country. In terms of resources, it’s one of the richest, in the whole region, But corruption has not allowed it to achieve the level it should have achieved in the last 20 years. It has pushed it back. The progress and development has really been dwarfed. It has not achieved that level of success which it should have achieved, and I feel personally, part of the responsibility or the majority [factors] has played a role for this corruption also. If the society was freed from corruption, I think this would have been the most prosperous nation” (Prabhat Kumar)
There is a picture in most legal firms that show two farmers fighting over a cow. Both declare that it is their property while the lawyer sits in between and milk it to his benefit.
The education department also shows the same picture of two individuals pulling at each end. They are exactly milking the system. The religious zealots on one end and the politicians on the other. In the middle are the poor SRK students paying the price.
Take these two equations out of the picture first and then implement a system that can be good for the students.
Instead of fighting and competing with each other, Malaysians should be competing with the rest of the world to become a world-class nation in as many fields of human endeavour as possible.(YB Lim KS)
On Vietnam surpassing M'sia should be a wake-up call. And the latest news is about Vietnam climbing in the ranking of best countries in which to invest this year, surpassing other Southeast Asian nations)
Ironically, those who insult other races, cause strife and disharmony, have never been considered the culprits of disunity. Neither are the puppeteers behind these aggressors. It is those stupid enough to point out the obvious, who demand equal treatment, who are blamed for causing disunity. Asking for equality is considered a great insult to the spoilt race.(Existential Turd)
Let us see whether the opposition today, whether at national or state levels, would be equally forthcoming and patriotic to take an united and firm stand against fake news and hate speech calculated to incite inter-racial and inter-religious polarisation in the country. Are the opposition parties, whether at national or state level, prepared to attend a roundtable conference to combat fake news and hate speech calculated to incite inter-racial and inter-religious polarisation? the upmost important thing for the Goman or in fact for the pm to do is to aggressively find ways to improve economy. everybody needs a decent life, we need a PM know how to manage, not kept arousing issues....
It appeared that Columbia University, the oldest institution of higher learning in New York, was “happy to host one kind of hate speech”.(The New York Post on upcom8ng forum featuring controversial speaker TDM)

Shameless hypocrite is when running a home to discrimation of minority while claiming the moral standing to criticize other country's stand on their own issues
.....the inept leader of a poor country who fail to eradicate poverty by take advantage of the richness of natural resources in his country to make the country as prosperous as your neighbour ....and strengthen its currency
For....extreme poverty anywhere is a threat to human security everywhere....
Poverty is the worst form of violence
And worst of all....In a country well governed, poverty is something to be ashamed of. In a country badly governed, wealth is something to be ashamed of......not
From Zero to Hero.....then u-turn back from h e r o to ZERO
Where, for example, is the promised reform of our education system? What happened to all that talk about reining in Jakim? Why are so many corrupt politicians (and their cronies) still running free? What has become of all those manifesto promises they made? How is it that the cabinet prioritises the interests of a foreign company like Lynas over the health of Malaysians and our environment? Why are they still protecting a fugitive from India despite the fact the Prime Minister himself says he is divisive and has overstepped his obligations as a permanent resident? (DENNIS IGNATIUS)
If Malaysia Baru is to see the light of day, PH needs to finally dismantle the culture of political patronage that has permeated the fabric of our institutions. We no longer can afford to sustain a culture of moral hazard in our business and government institutions. Malaysians voted differently in GE14 in the hope of seeing more courage on the part of their elected representatives. This includes the courage to move beyond the systems of the past and to pave a new way forward for the country. We voted for lions, not mice. (Fadhli Abd Rahman)
WHAT A SWING FROM BEING AN EXEMPLARY MODEL TO ONE TO BE AVOIDED (BEFORE AND AFTER HIS 22 YEARS OF MISMANAGEMENT)
In the 1980s, when I was a student in the US, whenever I met Muslim students from other countries they would look up to Malaysia, saying we were the model to follow because, in those days, Malaysia was able to combine religiosity with modernisation. Recently, in the last 10 years or so, I’m getting the opposite reaction.“People are saying, ‘Look at Malaysia; this is what happens when you mix religion with politics. You’re going to be extremists, Malaysia is now the model to be avoided. (Prof. Syed Farid, an expert in SOCIOLOGY)
If all these comments in the past few months are analysed, the message was as clear as daylight. But obviously PH leadership did not take heed or rather was unable to do anything due to reasons best known to them but generally obvious to everyone else. The Tg Piai election results merely formally delivered the message which was already clear from the analysis of the comments.
The current Malaysian leadership is busy declaring how compassionate Islam is at home, while taking no action against racist and bigoted remarks made by individuals at the Malay Dignity Congress.
After 18 months of the Pakatan Harapan (PH) government, there is still a lack of a united official voice to dispel the myth that Malays and Muslims are “threatened”.
Without a change in narrative, we will continue to fall into an abyss of intolerance. This is exactly what has happened in the Middle East.
