We have to pay the airfare and all the charges to Airasia before the ticket is comfirmed thru credit card. What happen when we cancelled the plane ticket and the airport tax get refund?. Few years ago have to make believe that we do not get our refund back and is this policy being practice now?

AirAsia collect the airport tax on behalf of MAHB, and will pay to MAHB thereafter. This is common practice by other airline in other countries. In some country, the airlines dont collect the tax on behalf. Hence the passenger needs to pay airport tax separately when they check in and board.
Currently, AirAsia has anti airport tax increment campaign to fight against the airport tax by MAHB. You can see it at AirAsia facebook. http://www.facebook.com/photo.php?fbid=10150493998727387&set=a.126637407386.141139.18801397386&type=1&theater

They are very angry because they aim is to let "everyone can fly", but MAHB try to increase the airfare. Talk about this, the increase is not on Directors of MAHB, don't be fooled. Their business mainly controlled by Ministry of Finance. Anything according to flight revenue need prior consensus from MoF. So, you know I know.
But, previously AirAsia fight and win in the dispute with PWC and the International Accounting Standard Board regarding the accounting standards applied in their financial statement.
Now, if fighting with MAHB, I got faith in AirAsia!
No result.
