you are wrong...theme park in Malaysia got very good response. Look at JB or next coming 20th Fox Century.
Now people more prefer local travel rather oversea due to weak ringgit. Recreation is also part of life, middle class as majority will still be the main pillar to support, not until no people go.
It depends how these theme park set their pricing and how this is manage. If manage like Gunung Lang, then really sorry la, poorly manage even good potential. Pricing shall be affordable by most Malaysian, dun set price like JB LEGOLAND, that is too expensive and really target to Singaporean only can bring whole family go. Imagine a 2A2C family already cost RM800+, Ipoh target which market? local la. Refer to how much Tambun Lost World charge, dun overprice or else no people want to go.

all theme park in malaysia, no matter how shitty and lousy. weekend all packed with families.

tambun lost world has nothing to offer yet packed like sardine.

don't always use logic to make conclusion, human are emotional animal. they are good at fooling themselves.

as long as you manage the theme park and not let the management fool around with the cash money. its a cash cow..

how do u think Sunway Cheah recovered from near death in 1998 crisis? the cash from subway theme park.
i know it well bcos my friends work for them.
near death, no cash in co. all cash come from theme park. during recession, those overseas holidays to disneyland is cancelled and replace with local theme park.

even bank has no cash during then.
