It's rare to find any article on FMCG company & give insight about the business. I don't see any insight except numbers. Sell-in,sell-out,retail environment & etc are the differentiator between those understand FMCG & those don't understand

Volume sales is better measurememt than value. Volume sales is related to economy of scale from production. This is related to cost per unit for every bottle. Efficient economy of scale means suppliers can produce the bottle at lower cost than competitors

The cost savings from economy of scale can be allocated to Marketing to fight the battle on retail end. VDMP is the best tool to evaluate FMCG but it's extremely rare to find even one good article on this subject
