Your personal view have been very consistent not like someone everyday telling crash, clear this and clear that but every evening jump out to tell buy low sell high this n that counter.

Haih..... Why we need to cheat ppl for day earning? Is our Malaysian economy such bad?

I am proud that I'm still paying maximum rate for personal income tax. It means I'm fit (stamina & health) to carry out my job roles.

Come on Chong, you can do better. Tell us something we don't already know.

Since the rest of the posters here have IQ's of everyday people, progress will depend on people who are looking down on these sucjects.

1. At what point does one sell. When it reaches your IV, when it exceeds IV by 20/50/100%? Or never? Now that old man, is a question for the ages.

As at 30th July 2016, I have purchased a diversified portfolio of 15 stocks for you as shown in the attached Excel file. Focus Lumber was cut loss and sold off after a drop of 18.5%.

wondering why cut loss? isn't it share price drop is a good things for a value investor for you and hence you should instead purchase more?

A man who always steadfast with his own investing principles. Overrated? Maybe, or could it be the wiser move?

Principles: We occasionally need to shed off old habits & items that burden us without adding to our lives - Principles of an eagle

You should be able to goggle the. Look for the time just before the crash. I guess it should be in the region of above 25.

Purchase more even if you may be wrong in your assessment? That is not what value investing is, definitely not.

No, I am not sure if my assessment was wrong. I still don't think so.

But I did give three reasons why I sold off the shares. Any comments on those specific reasons?

SC warns public on unlicensed financial planning services
By Tan Siew Mung / theedgemarkets.com | July 28, 2016 : 11:56 AM

KUALA LUMPUR (July 28): The Securities Commission Malaysia (SC) has cautioned the public about firms and individuals who promote the offering of financial planning services without being licensed by SC.

“Such firms and individuals may present their qualifications, awards won or memberships in certain associations as credentials.

“However, only financial planning companies and their representatives who are licensed by the SC are permitted to carry the title 'Financial Planner' and offer financial planning services,” it said in a statement today.

SC also emphasises that it is essential that investors are advised by licensed professionals who are able to provide an unbiased plan that serves the best interests of their clients.

what's condition posed by SC for licensing of financial services to the public. is it a matter of paying some fee for the authority? Professional or not, not depend on license but rather the systematic approach and the analytical process. If the result turn out to be negative, it is not because KCchongnz is not professional, but i would say the market is not professional. In the case of FLBhd, it is manipulated by unprofessional, unscrupulous KY. He uses his financial strength to overpower the company share price, no fundamental, not business but pure manipulation to cheat the public. unfortunately market love KY instead of KC. ha ha ha
