Ann Joo Resources Bhd group MD Datuk Lim Hong Thye said the shutdown of “zombie industries” (huge losses at high borrowing level) in China was a turning point for the normalisation of steel prices.

“The surge in steel prices is a normalising process from a negative margin to a positive margin. However, the prices have not reached its peak,” Lim said.
