Why Tun M want to appoint a bankrupt to undertake 30 Billion ringgit development?
He is putting his reputation in jeopardy.

Ting Pek Khiing half built indoor fish pond at Plaza Rakyat.
Bakun Dam in despair and need bail out by Sime Darby, which had to write off ONE billion ringgit.

Check how many listed companies went down together with Ekran, the flagship of Ting.

I have no confidence in Ting Pek Khiing.
Most probably this project will be funded using OPM, short term finance for a long term project.
Very likely this will be another fail project need to bail out again by somebody.

Tun M should have just forget about lending his name to revive Ting's business ambition.

（吉隆坡4日讯）富商丹斯里陈伯勤宣布斥资300亿令吉发展浮罗交怡，资政理事会成员敦达因对此奉劝陈伯勤“应该安享退休生活”，不要再出来企图从新政府捞取好处。


来自砂拉越的陈伯勤上周突然宣布，要在浮罗交怡岛展开一项300亿令吉的庞大发展计划，引起民间批评，指首相敦马哈迪首次主政时的朋党主义，可能重新出现在新政府。

也是前财长的达因在接受《星报》专访时表示，陈伯勤在最近“复出”之前，曾经历中风和破产。

达因语重心长地说：“我对丹斯里陈的忠告是：‘好好休息，享受退休。请帮助新政府，不要玷污新政府的形象。’”

他还表示，“如果他（陈伯勤）是认真（要发展浮罗交怡）的，也应该交给孩子们去做。不过，请出示你的钱。”

达因说，他会在资政理事会向中央政府提呈的最终报告中，建议所有授予的项目都要通过公开招标。

此前，首相及候任浮罗交怡国会议员马哈迪，针对陈伯勤的投资计划表示，只要有钱，任何人都可以进行投资。


但随后由马哈迪之子、吉打州务大臣拿督斯里慕克里兹领导的吉打州政府澄清，陈伯勤的计划并没有获得州政府的批准。
