The major problems in malaysia are mainly caused by race and religion issues. Some party leaders are too obsessed with those issues and forget about the importance of developing the nation as priority.

So far sinchew has been a demonstration of "lazy journalism" where it reports only the surface of issues (just being a messenger) instead of dig deeper to the root cause of the issues (analytical).

Many PH gov issues were due to the rise of "mahathir-ism" where he tries to consolidate power for his party in this short term. That's why there are so many reversals on promises made during the election campaign. But sin chew hardly report those news in deeper sense.

Sad, but, that's the true reality of malaysia politics and journalism...

Some politicians try to manipulate the people by making people believe that they can help solve the problems for the country. But in truth, they are the ones creating problems for the country.

Sin Chew used to pro MCA and is MCA paper. If they continue like this, the paper will be like Utusan. Artilce by 星洲副总编辑郑丁贤 looked professional, but in actual fact, most of the time is one sided when he wrote on Malaysia Politics. I stopped reading Sin Chew long time ago.

DAP is in many ways do not live up to expectations. But they are still better than MCA. Pakatan is still better choice than UMMO-PAS-MCA, even though they are are not as what is expected when majority of Malaysian voted them last year.
