Its a good article, except that it is partly true that Alex was avoiding police for a while since he cannot leave the car park because police are blocking his escape.

Police did fire tear gas into the car park, however I can't see how that action cause his death because there is no car alarm sound and smoke being seen at the car park.

My guess is he got frightened somehow while holding up his cellphone to take photograph standing above the wall, then he fell and get injured serious.
