No wonder share price shot up suddenly. Blessing in disguise also this MCO made everyone shop online and PUC is the only listed Co that has exposure in ecommerce
Finally seeing puc closing a MOU! This is a catalyst indeed! Somemore it's an exclusive partnership, the financial impact is huge as I was told there are RM100mil worth of points being redeemed a yr..
Hope they close more MOUs going forward so investors can impute the financial impact and see for themselves that the numbers are REAL
Be patience... hope all the punters is out of PUC.. and let the management do their job... piece by piece, you will see Presto transform into a Super APP soon... I believe more will come...
@LMN9997, they just merged the login ID and account for Prestomall and presto Apps... next phase, both apps will merge into one (same content etc)... I m actually surprise to see the ecosystem and variety of services Presto Universe provide.... it take some time to come to this stage... but worthwhile to stay and see how far they can go...
@LMN9997, Presto Universe aim is not to beat Lazada or Shopee. Online shopping (prestomall) is only one small part of Presto universe. Presto Universe is an integrated APP with variety of service like flight, hotel booking, E-voucher, movie, food ordering, groceries etc... they even provide loan services for gov servant (ah long)....
@dinghai888, you are perfectly right... 40c is only 8c prior the consolidation... my personal view, Pictureworks is only playing minor role for PUC future.... the game changer come from Presto universe...
@daily8, Low pricing come with subsidised (either from suppliers or the company themself).. both Shopee and Lazada still burning money everyday to fight for the market share.... I dont think PUC hv such gun power to do massive subsidising program (yet)... That is why they use different strategy, partnering with Bonuslink and BIG for loyalty program redemption, Airpaz for flight booking, KKmart for groceries, JD for Chinese product etc... Next PrestoPay will become exclusive payment gateway for prestomall .. accepting all kind of payment (including their own e-wallets, credits, loans, other e-wallets, all loyalty and etc)
funda, yeah, I read PUC did alot of collaboration thru MOE.
Their MOE can be terminated once the direction isn't achieved in between party concerned.
Their recent impairment followed by the large acquisition of Pictureworks shares, also followed by consolidation of share prices required deeper study.
Like i said from beginning, I x deep study on PUC. But now, I will!
