It was a nice ride from 36 sen for me hoping that it would break 60 sen. The longer it was hovering at 58 and 58.5 sen, I had this feeling that it would dropping any time. I followed my gut feel and was not wrong. I took profit when it was the right thing to do. Free money why should I complain. I was just hoping that it would go on and on but lesson learnt from other shares taught me to be thankful. This is part of what Mark Chang wrote,
Interestingly, in terms of timing, Chang cautions shareholders that they will see little action from JobStreet for the first 12 to 18 months, at least until his senior management team has been fully deployed back in the listed entity.
yup ..SEEK Asia Investments Pte Ltd had take over .. of course they had plan to make more profit based on JOBST biz potential ... that why they buy JOBST
Sorry to pour cold water over the so called plans to hire after the floods. If you believe in it, good for you. Jobstreet today after selling out to SEEK has one year to change their name and also they have a non competitive clause in their agreement when selling their online job search portal business.
Raz183, that time 0.529, I went for meeting. By the time came back it already dropped to 0.520. It did grew to 0.545 but I q at 0.565. Hopefully tmr I can sell at 0.525 or 0.530..
For those who are still talking about jobstreet recruitment business potential etc... pls wake up and pls do not mislead others. this company has SOLD its jobstreet businesses to SEEK. For the moment it is mainly an asset play, while waiting for it to come out with new business and name change.
why people invest without knowing what happen to their business? Jobstreet sold most of it's business to Seek. And left with autoworld, 20% shares in 101 taiwan, jobstreet building..++ they might buying or investing in new business, but who knows? Trade at ur own risk, dont follow blindly. I trust their CEO, Mark and their team. Thus, i bought earlier at 0.3 and sell at 0.5. I believe the fair value is around 0.36-0.40. Happy trading!
This book is the result of the author's many years of experience and observation throughout his 26 years in the stockbroking industry. It was written for general public to learn to invest based on facts and not on fantasies or hearsay....
