大马卫生总监丹斯里诺希山宣布，在已召开的第359次药品控制执法组会议中，已批准了来自中国的康希诺疫苗（CanSino）和美国强生疫苗（Johnson & Johnson），这两种疫苗已获世界卫生组织批准可在紧急状况下使用。

这两种疫苗都属于一剂性疫苗，意思是人民只需要注射一剂疫苗即可。

诺希山说道，大马政府是通过全球冠病疫苗机制（COVAX）取得的强生疫苗注册，是通过世界卫生组织紧急使用清单批准的认证机制。

Menteri Kesihatan, Datuk Seri Dr Adham Baba berkata, itu berita gembira untuk negara dalam usaha memastikan program vaksinasi berjalan lancar.

"Vaksin CanSino ini vaksin dengan dos tunggal yang sudah diluluskan Bahagian Regulatori Farmasi Negara (NPRA), sebelum ini.
