For those who are late to the party and want to chase, i only have an advice for you, which is to consider your margin of safety. If you chase now with no idea whats going on, you are merely speculating, not investing. This is as dangerous as gambling. However, making money do not have to be that way. If you missed the opp, look for the next one. The market is always there, opp are plentiful. Just dont make a decision and regret later.
Margin of safety (safety margin) is the difference between the intrinsic value of a stock and its market price. Based on my latest article on Vis, the FV is 35 sens factoring the cycles of semicon, weak economy growth local / globally, hence at current market price, CKKHEN is correct to point out there is no longer any margin of safety
tradeview- Let's say...today I only see this share..then I wanted to invest because the company is good, make good profit....what price should I enter?
YeeLee - good entry price as per when I called out around Rm2.30-2.33. If you believe in the upside potential, can always buy some then average down later on if you fear miss the boat Vis - i wont enter at current price as I dont have the necessary margin of safety to allow me to sleep well at night. Hence, will just wait for price retracement to enter. IF cannot, then forget it and move on to next counter.
Profit taking. Buy some when the price is low since forward p/e ratio is extremely low, only 4.5. Where you find a stock which up everyday? Buy on weakness.
This book is the result of the author's many years of experience and observation throughout his 26 years in the stockbroking industry. It was written for general public to learn to invest based on facts and not on fantasies or hearsay....
