You either take 0.32 cash, or 0.15 cash and 0.17 shares at Rm8.

So if you have 1000 shares, you can choose either Rm320 cash, or Rm150 cash and (0.17*1000)/8 = 21.25 shares.

Thanks smissions. But my brokerage told me different story. I can only choose one. Cash of Rm150 OR take the 21.25 shares. Not both.

@Everybodyhuat it's all there in the announcement. If the broker tells you otherwise you should get a new broker :) I can intro mine to you if you want :)

What he said makes no sense because as you said, if they did that who would opt for DRP lol :)

you can only choose:-

1.. all RM0.32 cent paid full in cash
2. 0.15 cash and 0.17 in drp = total 0.32 cent

No other method

RM0.32 declared. RM0.17 is DRP while RM0.15 is cash payout. Says here in their website https://www.maybank.com/en/investor-relations/dividends/latest-dividend.page?

For those opting for full cash payment, no action required when receiving DRP forms. If registrar don't receive your form means you want cash payment.

Only those subscribing to DRP need to fill the form. Your entitlement is clearly stated in the form.

For those with 1000 or 2000 shares, I suggest you take cash as DRP needs a rm10 stem cukai, immaterial of amount subscribed. 1 share or 1 mil shares, its rm10.

The sell volume is a lot bigger then the buy volume
I agree with nesarajah1 they are suppressing the price
Watch they will buy back big just before ex date at low price and be happy with drp
Their avg must be very low from over the years
Drp at 8 is good for them because of their volume held

@leslieroycarter they effectively own Tuaspring now.. banks are not so dumb to loan without adequate collateral :)

The OPR cut, if it happens, will make loans more attractive and increase the range of clients that they can select from.
