Yes votes for Briexit leading in polls. The fear is the rest of the countries inside the EU would follow suit should British yes wins.
It is my opinion that Europe should revert to its old days before the "Europe without frontiers" which is now causing so much problems to its member countries. Greece went bankrupt due to capital flight within the Union.

Base rate hikes new earnings catalysts for banks....

....CIMB Research said Maybank so far does not have plans to raise its BR. However, the research house sees a reasonable chance for it do to so in the near term, considering that two of its biggest competitors have upped the rates.

“We estimate that a 10bp rise in Maybank’s BR would lift its FY17-18 net profit by circa 1.5%,” it said....

I'm bank in my hope on Maybank now after force to cut loss in skept. The cut loss at 1.50-1.51 is prompted by announcement yesterday that EPF was the main shareholder trigger selloff, therefore cannot against it...force to let go and swap to Maybank)

Today batch likely opt for contra if possible to reap profit in order to pare down loss incur in skept.

every major economy has already prepared for brexit to a large degree. there will be disruption but temporary, imo. so falling maybank price may be an opportunity to collect.
