Since institutional investors are so jittery and MBSB is profitable, why not just use some money and do a shares buy back and push up the price? Does the useless management think of it rather then letting it trading so low which is bad for the company.
Is there still any chance MBSB will go up given the macro situations is facing inflationary and recession pressure? Those holding MBSB last 4 to 5 years are all losing money on this counter.
Indeed, the acquisition is done through a share swap, if my theory is right, the share price of MBSB is kept deliberately low so that parent company of MIDF can get more shares through the selling price valuation of MIDF, and by the share exchanges is done, goreng the price up 20 to 30% and both parties will be happy with the deal at the end of the transaction and also can report better financial gains for both sides by end of the year.
EPF needs to manage MBSB properly to a full-fledged Islamic bank and get better members' returns. Dividends have to be paid if it is making a profit. The increase in interest rates will be catalyze for growth in business. birdie65 If the merging of MBSB and MIDF is done through a shares swap, then there's a purpose or a conspiracy theory to keep the share price of MBSB low to benefit the current holders of MIDF.
hopefully by Nov earning announcement, results are above expectation and declare dividends. Management must do more to gain businesses and trim cost and enhance capital appreciation.
Like I always reiterated, the under expected 3Q earnings results is directly tie to the poor management performance, the ROE is the worst of all banks, why are cost so high? Too many useless depts and high ranking management staffs?
I have never seen a bank selling at 50% discount from the NAPS...and Management has not been doing anything to address the low prices just tells you how incapable and useless are they.
This book is the result of the author's many years of experience and observation throughout his 26 years in the stockbroking industry. It was written for general public to learn to invest based on facts and not on fantasies or hearsay....
