It is a speculative counter. By right, Sumatec should enjoy the privilege of JIA. Why is this not taken into account? Board is playing games to press prices low for share buy back from public. I am not sure, but rather not being so confident either as TSH has not come out to make statement publicly, a shame!

My guts, TSH is buying shares from public with this MD resignation news. Maybe he himself paid the MD to resign so he can trigger the panic sell-off.

How can a Company announced its big win from Kazak supreme court and privilege to ride on JIA, suddenly turn kaput in weeks. All this big moves, up and down is to benefit the large shareholders.

1c soon gone. Very well played by the Board. They want to ensure volume is there as part of extension criteria. Now after buying shares from public, they will cook to spur prices higher again. This time they will announce "Sumatec suspension lifted, and shall continue with JIA agreement" :)

Further to the announcement dated 30 April 2018, 4 June 2018, 3 July 2018, 1 August 2018, 3 September 2018, 1 October 2018, 2 November 2018, 3 December 2018, 2 January 2019, 31 January 2019, 1 March 2019, 1 April 2019, 19 April 2019, 3 May 2019, 3 June 2019, 1 July 2019, 2 July 2019, 2 August 2019 and 4 September 2019 following the classification of Sumatec Resources Berhad (“Sumatec” or “The Company”) as Practice Note 17 (“PN 17”) Company pursuant to Paragraph 2.1 (d) of PN 17 of the Main Market Listing Requirements (“Main LR”), in relation to the monthly announcement of Sumatec's status to regularise the Company's financial condition, the Board wishes to inform that there is no major development todate.

The Company has on 17 May 2019 replied to Bursa query for additional information dated 2 May 2019 to consider the Application.

Subsequently, on 23 May 2019, 3 June 2019, 11 June 2019, 21 June 2019, 1 July 2019 and 26 July 2019 the Company has provided additional information and documents to the points raised by Bursa Securities.

On 4 September 2019, the Company received a letter from Bursa Securities on the application for an extension of time to submit the Company's Regularisation plan. After due consideration of all facts and circumstances of the Application, Bursa Malaysia Securities Berhad ("Bursa Securities") has decided to grant the Company an extension of time of 6 months up to 29 October 2019 to submit a regularisation plan to the regulatory authorities.

Please note that the aforesaid extension of time is without prejudice to Bursa Securities' right to proceed to suspend the trading of the listed securities of SUMATEC and to de-list the Company in the event:

(i) the Company fails to submit a regularisation plan to the regulatory authorities on or before 29 October;

(ii) the Company fails to obtain the approval from any of the regulatory authorities necessary for the implementation of its regularisation plan; or

(iii) the Company fails to implement its regularisation plan within the time frame or extended time frame stipulated by any of the regulatory authorities.

Upon occurrence of any of the events set out in (i) to (iii) above, Bursa Securities shall suspend the trading of the listed securities of SUMATEC on the 6th market day after the date of notification of suspension by Bursa Securities and de-list the Company, subject to the Company's right to appeal against the delisting.

This announcement serves as the monthly announcement required under Paragraph 4.1(c) of PN17 of the Main LR.

This announcement is dated 1 October 2019.

I don't know how you guys felt, but I really think Talib sold his stake after resignation, and he cannot do it while he was in position. Other board member, sharks may have taken his stake through brokerage where they perform purchase in sequences.

The board to be blamed, been eating salary but zero work to rejuvenate Company. They need to work harder to submit plan, which I believe is not that complex if they had properly engaged with all stakehodlers
