Sumatec's PN17 regularisation plan submission deadline extended to Oct 29
KUALA LUMPUR (Oct 1): Practice Note 17 (PN17) company Sumatec Resources Bhd said today Bursa Malaysia granted the oil and gas firm a time extension of six months up to Oct 29, 2019 to submit a regularisation plan to the authorities.
In a bourse filing today, Sumatec said it had on Sept 4 received Bursa's letter on Sumatec's application for the time extension.
"After due consideration of all facts and circumstances of the application, Bursa has decided to grant the company an extension of time of six months up to Oct 29, 2019 to submit a regularisation plan to the regulatory authorities," the group said.
Sumatec had initially announced its PN17 status in April 2018. In a bourse filing on April 30, 2018, Sumatec said it became a PN17 company after its auditors expressed a disclaimer opinion in the company's audited financial statements for financial year ended Dec 31, 2017.

sumatec no time for waiting will suspended trading first ,you all cannot selling....sumatec enter PN17 give much time 1 year 6 month also cannot give regularisation plan to bursa for upliftment status that mean boss sumatec no money also cannot do anything just watch wait see and sleeping no ability to settle the financial problem , when suspend bursa give short time very difficult for sumatec to submit regularisation plan to resume trading is very dangerous anytime de-listing !

Investing is always about due diligent and invest at own risk. Everyone have their own opinion on SUMATEC and there's not much right or wrong... even for now... there's still like roughly 25 days (or 17 working days) before SUMATEC lifeline to be decided by courts or decisions by everyone involve.

Long story short, what i said is just pretty much not saying anything... if you wanna continue trade this counter, just do at your own risk.

As it goes, with all the comments above and being too negative... will only case panic sell or direct sell down with no chance to play up the counter, HAHA. Relatively as well, someone might play down this counter so that the "someone" can collect low, and push up later by selling high.

Last word - Trade at your own risk.

What is happening? From 40 sen in 2014 and in 5 years....reach 1 sen. Is this a good company? Definitely NOT. But why am I still here? Well...its a trap. I bought because like they say its DIRT CHEAP and it is OIL & GAS which is like black GOLD. So what happen to this so called O&G company? We feel CHEATED! Hope some WHITE knight will come in to save the day or some miracles. How can a company that produce OIL go bankrupt when everyday we see cars pumping in petrol and oil price continue to rise ? You mean those oil wells dried up or still continue producing barrels of oil ? So where is the money go to???? Sickening management. I thought went it rise from 1 sen to 4 sen we can see day light. Now its back to 1 sen again! Sad case. Now its a gamble again....can it rise back from 1 sen back to 4 sen??? Lets wait and see.
