KianJoo will face fierce competition next year as Crown American (not Crown Wong) is having new aluminium can line ready in 1Q! will expect Kianjoo to lose substaintial market share. Moreover, CanOne takeover KianJoo is not helping either as the Food & Bev business of Canone has is direct competing with F&N and Nestle in Diary and noodle business. How can F&N or Nestle support their competitor!!! Make your money, run quickly!

Kian Joo's rally should extend after it closed back above the RM2.50 resistance level. A purchase can be made above the level with a close below last Friday's low of RM2.44 as a stop-loss. Price targets are at RM2.80 and RM2.90, with supports registered at RM2.30 and RM2.22. Failure to hold above RM2.50 may lead to a correction.

Outlook
The company has the ability to further improve its production operational efficiency to continue delivering organic growth. It could also get a potential boost from its expansion to the regional markets from its existing operations in Vietnam as well as the potential expansion of its aluminium can business to Indonesia and Vietnam.


Risks
1) A negative change in the company's policies and plans by the new management although we do not think this is likely.
2) A potential conflict of interest as Can-One is in the business of manufacturing condensed milk, a similar business with some of Kian Joo's clients. However, this is mitigated by the fact that there is no direct competition as Can-One focuses more on the export markets while those clients are concentrated in the domestic market.

The price rise yesterday is already exceeded the div. announced. So some investors may opted to sell than to keep. Especially, when quarter result is lower than expectation.

At low price, other investors or the co. may pick them up when it is in oversold region. As the bonus issue which mentioned during the last AGM is still pending SC approval if not mistaken.

But in the long run KJCF gives good div.
