Ha ha, bro KC 2 cts is good, then coming Q, maintain the profit level, during AGM declare 10cts , OK then every one happy..... NTA keeps growing n IRR as well........
i think time will tell... generally still a good consumer stock as no matter what we still need to eat meehon or mee or anything that make up from flour :) just my two cents and i could be wrong.
yfchong, it should still be high for the 1H13 at least. Some parts of West Asia has started to reduce price, but i believe market still cautious after last year's record prices!
in the meantime, MFlour looks like a definite bargain now after management has rewarded sharreholders with dividend. i thought it would at least be 4Q13!
ThTi Bowen : wheat price not going up, that should be the main concern! Market is maintaining its price currently!
I think with its last dividend, the management is sending the message that it is still making profit despite the margin squeeze. I believe it should be getting better only in 2H13 unless another hot prolonged weather pattern appears. An investor's concern is to see if current Mflour price is a deal.
Too much flour... Price goes down. Over supply means lower demand and therefore profits lower. So, I think reverse is true. MFlour needs new markets to expand.
Abudance, Over supply ??? Lower Demand?? the price go down not because of over supply. It because of Wheat (Raw Material)price go down. Therefore, the flour pricing go down too.
So far the price is quite stable at 1.20~1.25. The price at 1.26~1.30 is new score right now. Horison, you shall ask yourself looking at short or long terms. If for long term may enter now but if short we can't predict how far the price will going.
For me I'm enter at 1.50 for 6~7 month ago. Although I'm lost 0.20 but I'm still believe it can go to 2.00 someday soon. Because I'm looking at long term investment and study the fundamental of this company.
Euscilyn, price goes down cos more wheat. I bought it when it split at 1.98. So about 47% lost on paper. I bought cos fundamentally good management. Market forces also into play. Have no choice but to 'wait it out"'
Actually I also entry from 1.56, but thinking of scaling down, just thought if this may go down abit before rebound back or it will keep going up, what is the next resistance level?
Elections on ... The trend has been down trend when parliament dissolves ... Now blue chips are up linked to GLC. Better wait and see. I thought to average out... But if there is another faster fundamentally good stock, may be better option.
See for coming Q how and improvement in the NI improved ??,..........only decide, but it pays dividend...hopefully declared good final dividend.....during AGM...
yeah, but did mflour export flour? or just for local use? if they export flour, they will have good profit, since usually export transaction done in contract, and flour price is reducing, means previous contract will have higher price...
Harison, Mflour got plant at Vietnam. You see when come to export it depend on a currency and tax duty needed to consider. I don't think the profit is depend on export market.
Chinese said far water can't safe near fire. Is better forecast on local market because don't having wheat plant. Malaysian still depend on it. Mflour market strategics should having 50~60% local demand and 30~40% export.
This book is the result of the author's many years of experience and observation throughout his 26 years in the stockbroking industry. It was written for general public to learn to invest based on facts and not on fantasies or hearsay....
