Posted by KClow > Oct 28, 2013 03:07 PM | Report Abuse anyhow enough of wasting time here with losers.. u can take a horse to a river but you cant make it drink and you cant teach old dogs new tricks.. bye bye MFLOUR..
If you noticed the performance of MFlour, it's profits is pretty much cushioned due to subsidies while over the last 5 years it has not failed to improve its revenue to the extent that it is currently running on almost full capacities on all its mills in Malaysia.
Based on a GST rate of 4%, it is expected that there will be a price reduction between 0.08% to 2.71% in respect of eight components of goods and services. With this price reduction, the rakyat will benefit from the cheaper goods and services such as clothing and footwear, basic food, communication, furnishings, hardware and maintenance, transport, housing, water, electricity, gas and fuel. The tax burden borne by the rakyat and consumers is expected to be lower compared with that under the present tax system. This is due to the reason that various basic needs such as rice, sugar, flour, cooking oil, vegetables, fish, meat, eggs, and essential services such as public transport, private education and health, residential properties and agricultural land are not subject to GST.
that they did poorly in 2012 is expected. They already announced they are on expansion mode. This is what the contributor of intellecpoint.com missed in that blog. the fact that this is a good management by giving a special dividend of 62 sens before they went on expansion mode speaks highly of its management to me! it is recovering and with the indonesian and vietnamese mills now churning at towards capacity, as is the Malaysian side. i have very good hopes in MFlour, both as a growth stock as well as a defensive one! will be my mainstay leading towards 2014-15.
KC, yes it was misleading of report to say they did well last 5 years. Also if they cannot overcome fight with Robert Kwok who is also in Indonesia .. That's another factor. I bgt at rm1.95 and their dividend do far is 3 sen. Far from. 62 sen which is special div. that's not average div u quoting.
you bought just after the stock split? how is it then you only get 3 sens dividend, when they have paid 6 sens already after expansion to date?
incidentally, i think another round of dividend announcement coming this month seeing how the big boss wallop both common shares and warrants on 4th November! stay tuned! :)
Yes. After split, thinking that they will do well .. But they did very badly in 2012! So am sitting on MFlour stocks. Share buy back maybe cos EPF is not buying to support MFlour. They got many other small caps to help. Better share holders help to push price of shares up! No big deal if a outer 3 sen when in average is about 20 sen before special div is 62 sen!
dont worry too much since the latest new of indonesia mills churning now. i believe good earning will be reported from here. They are eyeing myanmar prospects already! i think growth story will continue!
Even after directors buy at 1.36 it dropped some more!! EPF throw and directors have to pick up? So strange such an essential basic food item also can drop price !!
we don't control price, because market gyrates! you buy when you think the fundamentals of the company is intact! i can only offer you two reasons why it is going down from what i see : 1) No analyst coverage and 2) window dressing season is at hand!
I want to know What a business will look like 10 years from now. If I can’t see them where they will be 10 years from now, I don’t buy them. We are buying a piece of a business. You will do well if the business does well if you didn’t pay too high of a price. ~ Warren
Keep buying yfchong. NTA now 1.24 sens if not mistaken. You are getting the whole damn company for only 8 sens premium. Do it before analysts all come back!
Lol, the payout for current dividend > than eps assuming. This is good m flour is projecting a good net cash for coming Q. Therefore try to buy during weakness.
Look like the roadblock is 1.44, if can't break thru this it hard to move fruther. It been couple of time the stock try to break thru this point. Look like someone put a stop there :-)
