Bro tand3, I loves this counter too. This is one of the counter I will put it into my portfolio from now on.....(2012) Lets see how much we can make from this stock (2-3years investment) *Build our retirement fund together....cheers
Carrot Loh, personally this article is a good reminder why the MFlour needs to increase capacity. and the last note to consider is that in 2014, they are targetting Indonesian market as already JV are in place.
to be a FA, long memory is required. either that or proper record management :) So, you got to ask now, is it worth it?
Shi Ji Ch'ng : I'm not very agree your invest warrant because you are new. Try to invest those stock is long term which can gain more experience in the future. But of cause the choose is yours just an suggestion.
As kilrathi had said, it promises big profits but could also be a slayer. It's better to know what one is going into first, i.e. to understand what the different warrants are. Only then can one make an informed trade and not be at the mercy of market movers.
To those who plan to invest long term on this stock, please wait. This is a " has been ' stock after the bonus and split, it won't bloom again that fast so why must you expose to the risk of the on coming consolidation , go in after the correction and you'll have a better gain.
the newspaper link shows what the management is doing. the quarterly loss is reflected in their building of lumut, pasir gudang (enroute to complete this year) and vietnam (in 2013). They are heading to economies of scale. So its consistent. Depending on your own risk tolerance, you guys can check it out and enter at your own discretion.
Some bros, like aunloke, is kind enough to give input and opinion. It may be true that it may not rise for a while, probably owing to capex when the JV in indonesia starts. you all must weigh it accordingly too. Always ask questions!
It all points to an economy of scale to overcome their limited output capacity. do i think the price is cheap? looks ok if the next two quarters at least shows a return to the black. Then it would mean that the investment was reflected in the first quarter.
i think their internal funds will be able to sustain the capex in 2013 when indonesia starts. Is the valuation ok? i am ok with even 1.60 as my entry price, but i have seen it reached 1.49 before. So currently its ok for you guys to enter at your appropriate entry level.
KC Loh, I'm agree with you too. Sometime is very hard for us to judge should or shouldn't to go for x stock. But for me as long the x stock won't go waste paper than we should go for it when come low and wait the right time to sell. The word "Investment" always got risk, it's depend on how low the risk we can foreseen and how high the risk we can take it.
I am not good at economics or accounting or management as long as people need to eat that is good, x population expansion = food consume regardless what in the business provided the geography n whether is kind to the wheat...is supportive,..my 1cents, min company must have good governance, no vision pun jalan....
Agree, if 1.50 is a good buy 1.40 will be even better, but i think it's hard to drop to this level. This stock is in my must buy list but I have yet to purchase.
i not really clear with the cost of this company, but flour, they claims that the soybean rise high in this season, consequences the profit margin become low. If the soybean farm belongs to the company, the price should be boost up.
It is true that the wheat cost has gone up, and will continue to be high with the effects of El Nino still raging til September. Its a time to accumulate in the current climate.
El Nina is coming to America. Good! cooler weather and rain will help the driest drought past 57 years.
hope not too much rain then! Soybean and corn price should start to go back at level acceptable without pushing margin squeeze to companies like MFlour. coupled with the celebration of Aidilfitri around the bend, things are looking up. Now if only the GE13 is done with, then i expect the bear to go back to hibernation.
and with MFlour's quarterly coming out this month, lets see then. My glass is more than half full now!
@ bro kc Loh, appreciate u can assist me on the annjoo fv, many thanks. I am thinking of changing vessel. The movement is too volatile, your comment is well appreciated.
Bro KC Loh, would u think this stock will go down further or this is the time to enter u have make good suggestion on MUDajaya..... @ 2.52 .....thks, CHONg
lowest i have seen is 1.49 for the past 6 weeks. to me it wont make too much a difference now with price at 1.50, a 1-sen difference, if you decide to wait and have a look if it could go lower. bear in mind their quarterly announcement is 23/8 and so price may rise. I am so confident of this stock that i went in 1.59 this is because of the report which i had posted previously. now i feel a bit sheepish la, sure got la when could have purchase a bit cheaper hehe.
MFlour now makes the biggest stake of my portfolio, accounting to 26%. Buffett said something about a sex-starved man in a harem. search that out! hehehe....
please know your own risk/reward-to-time tolerance.
good to see you make some decent profit in Mudajya. keep well!
Please note again, i am taking a longer view owing to their mills and refiners work still ongoing. I am looking at indicators in this coming quarterly report. Consolidation, as aunloke observed, may still be ongoing.
Please buy when you are comfortable with the price AND period of waiting. I am looking at least 3 or 4 q-o-q at least before some progress can be found.
i am just trying to avoid losing at price this low.
Hi KC the consolidation I refer to is market consolidation and not of Mflour which more or less has reached its bottom. The price won't drop much unless market makes a serious correction and this is what I'm trying to avoid since we are looking for long term.
Hello aunloke, technically it is my believe both are. This explain why its still sliding last few days despite market climb . By this I mean market is still trying to figure out MFLOUR's position after their announcement they are shoring up work, rights issues generally for capex, dilution of shares and payment of dividend. Personally I believe too that market had overreacted on their one bad quarter.
For me, you are right in that MFLOUR has reached basement price if historical prices are any indication. Don't believe it will ever hit this price again when they have gone through their period of consolidation.
