If he press down the price at 0.15 in order to lure minority to sell, he would also risk of certain party collecting at low price too. He might end up paying extra if he intend to privatised. Anywhere, by looking at current trend, the privatisation seems slim. He will propose to the ultra rich man club of bursa to further delay to 10% threshold.
A. VT is buying using his money, NOT using BJCorp or BJLand's money. So, any good deal BJLand or BJCorp is offering for BJLand will not benefit BJLand or BJCorp but ONLY he himself.
B. Big Mouth VT can choose NOT to buy any shares, he need only to WALK the TALK!!! If he mentioned about overseas acquisitions to beef up hotel business besides selling Kyoto Four Season that's ripe to sell for profit, it won't be so scary. If he bought the whole Penta's deal instead of just enough to avoid breaching 85% special allowance, minorities won't wonder so much. If he provide a MGO after Penta's deal and tried to dissuade minorities during EGM to participate because better days ahead, at least some minorities might not be so upset!!!
I hold MAA from 0.65...and it went down to 0.45... then MAA offered 1.10 to privatise... Unfortunately minority shareholders rejected the offer... But I already sold near to the offer price...
Don't let VT scare you... End of the day, he is a Cina man... Who likes to look good when he does charity with the minimum cost...

But then Bjland, has reached 85% holding and the share price is near record low mah of Rm 0.15....and icon & raider already value Bjland at Rm 0.70 to Rm 0.92....and the share price is only Rm 0.155 and VT 85% is reaching its privatization limit loh...!!
And VT has bought alot under his own account mah....!!
So if Bjland decide to privatize in a selective capital repayment basis, the biggest beneficiary will be VT and Bjcorp mah...of course raiders & gang and followers who spot this opportunity loh...!!
Bjland has very good margin of safety on this price & it is not too late to accumulate, bearing in mind icon was promoting in 2016 when share price was Rm 0.30 citing intrinsic value Rm 0.92 loh....!!

Samurai Bonds is actually the nice guy since it's a long term 10 years loan with 0.65% interest rate use to off set the 1MDB loans @ 5.99%
aiseh, yen strong is not something gonna last forever ma. even the Vincent tan want to sell Kyoto hotel, is not like sell today tomorrow transfer back money ma. Japanese never like strong yen.
