Just wish all of us here will get good news from vincent tan soon. Nothing can be done now besides wait. I suppose vincent tan should make a feedback to bursa regarding the shareholding.
Somebody with contacts should follow up with Bursa/SC to adopt the following rules with immediate effect similar to those implemented by SGX to protect minority interest at Bursa?
Two key areas for Bursa to implement: 1. The Singapore Exchange barred offeror and parties acting in concert from voting on voluntary delistings. It has mandated the offers must not only be reasonable but also fair. "Exit offers must now be equal or more than the intrinsic value of the securities"
2. SFX will separately announce the bases for determining "fairness and reasonableness” of offers and will work with relevant industry bodies to develop standards for independent financial advisers.
If Bursa/SC can come out with a statement to implement the new rulings mentioned above to protect minority interests similar to those implemented by SGX. Very sure that VT will speed up the privatisation process for BJLand?
SC, I just want to exit from this counter....let VT privatise and own it soonest possible, for me, I am more keen on on dividend base and upward trend counter......hehehe...
Based on my analysis, I believe BJLand and BJCorp are both worth between 0.60 and 1.00. I bought BJCorp a few years back, and converted some of them into BJLand when BJCorp is at a premium to BJLand, which happened last year. I did it gradually, that's why I said more than a year, less than 2...
quite frankly, thought VT going to make a MGO after Penta's deal, that's why I have been keeping my BJLand. Otherwise, would have converted all back to BJCorp. There's a 2-2.5 cents premium if I were to exchange my BJLand back into BJCorp. Now, its at a discount of 0.09 and peak at 0.105, damned!
haha... no way I am adding more BJLand, VT really fools me hard. I have a rather good impression about him after listening to what he had said in the last AGM. I can forgive bad business decision and highly paid directors, but definitely NO to taking minorities for granted...
@Good123, you must be trapped badly!! Nonstop promoting BJLAND!! Go and take a break and come back at year end! VT will not privatize BJLAND this year! Face the reality!!
i also feel dun be too optimistic .... if u check today transactions, there r 4 lots (400 shares) dun @0.175, and it was done 1 lot, 1 lot ..... what is this means? someone is tightly control the market price ..... hv to prepare to deal with old fox ......
Ultimately VT wants to privatise Bland loh....if he can takeout the big part of the existing shareholders cheap cheap...it could also mean he can pay more to the remaining shareholder who holdout loh....!!
Less men more share mah.....common sense loh...!!

Bursa will make the decision to either extend lower public shareholding spread of 10% for BJLand or TSVT will be instructed by Bursa to acquire the rest of the remaining shares not owned by him (delisting) most hopefully. Let's wait and see.
This book is the result of the author's many years of experience and observation throughout his 26 years in the stockbroking industry. It was written for general public to learn to invest based on facts and not on fantasies or hearsay....
