Frankly speaking, Malaysia will continue restrict interstate travelling at least till 3rd quarter or maybe till end of this year. forget about GENM new outdoor theam park ; hotel income ; casino income .... 新德里首长称现“新加坡变种病毒”　狮城驳斥不实指控
印度网上流传媒体报导引述新德里首长科基瓦尔的推特贴文内容显示，指印度总理应立即暂停往来新加坡和印度的航班，原因是“在新加坡发现新变种病毒株”。对此，新加坡卫生部驳斥印度媒体有关报导是不实指控，并指出当地过去几周的确诊病例所感染的其中一种变种病毒株源自印度。

网上流传印度报章《印度斯坦时报》和印度NDTV电视台的报道，都引述新德里首长科基瓦尔（Arvind Kejriwal）的推特贴文内容。科基瓦尔在推文中呼吁印度总理莫迪应立即暂停往来新加坡和印度的航班，原因是“在新加坡发现的新变种病毒会导致印度出现第三波疫情，对孩童非常危险。”

对此，新加坡卫生部昨晚（18日）针对有关报道提出反驳。新加坡卫生部表示：“报道中的指控毫无事实根据，根本没有所谓的‘新加坡变种病毒株’，过去几周许多确诊病例感染的是源自印度的B16172变种病毒株。”


新加坡卫生部表示，根据系统发生学检测与分析，当地出现的好几个冠病感染群，都与B16172毒株有关联。

此前，世界卫生组织将源自印度的B1617变种病毒株列为“须关切变种”（variant of concern）。除了B16172毒株之外，这个变种病毒株还有另两种变异，即B16171和B16173。
